hahaha too easy. I almost broke my leg so I am out of action for the moment. Will see how I go after the weekend.
It was swollen like a balloon for the first 2 days. It is slowly starting to go down a little bit today. I am walking on it though so its probably not broken. If its still hurting after parklife I will get it xrayed then
Im just so board, your easy to strike up a conversation up with. :yep Hows the study going mate? How far away are you from becoming a Dr? You said before what kind, but i forgot...what type will you be? And is that like a GP doctor?
im 1 year away from being finished university and then 2 1/2 years full time in a hospital as a resident before im fully qualified. I would be a GP for a while and then go back and study Oncology (cancer). My passion is finding more effective treatments for people that are suffering from cancer. It's a ****
Good for you mate. Cancer is a curse we will all deal with in life, and with 1 in 3 men getting prostate cancer :yikes (i think thats the figures) So Banker, was cancer around as much in the easrly years 1500-1800 , or is it caused by modern day polution? Or is it not that simple?
the first recorded case was in 1600BC in Egypt :yikes they found several skeletons with bone tumours which led them to this conclusion cancer has always been around but its gradually got worse in modern times; new types of cancers are mutating, the environmental factors carry greater impact, our diets include more carcinogens, we smoke, drink and dont exercise as much. So i guess you could say cancer was an issue back in early times but they didnt understand it and didnt really know what it was as such. In the modern day cancer is more prolific because of our lifestyle and due to the fact that cells adapt and mutate meaning that each time we find a solution/treatment the cancer becomes smarter and figures out a way to become resistant. So yeah, its getting worse and worse everyday and has been doing so for hundreds of years
Very interesting , thanks for that mate :good mmm i have this sweet book on food called, The Food Doctor, it goes on about how we cook our food far too much. But i only ate steamed fish once....yuk :barf I still cant believe smoking is legal......its a ****in disgrace our goverment earns so much money off people who really are just killing themselfs with it.
