I think the comment about Will being a bit like Katsidis but with less power is fairly accurate.

I didnt score the fight but thought it was very close and the ref was poor.

Cant get over the crap written about Wood. He fights Kalakoda who was retired for 12 mths is not a shadow of the bloke he was when I last saw him. Sorry cant cop him at all. I wish he fought Rob Berridge and the whole charade would be over and out.

Will should give Klassen a rematch.........that was just bull**** that decision.........Klassen should of known by round 1 with the knockdown put on him that he was up against it........I know Wood beat mandy but does he have to try & impersonate him when he comes to the ring.........****en embarrassing himself by doing that ****......and his windmill punching finishing performance was cringe worthy.

Rematch very lucky to get the decision 118-109:patsch. How good was Matt Gartlett at his first go at 12 rounds. He will be a world champion for sure.

No Im serious. He was the only bright spot on the Green-Briggs card and he was fantastic last night against a guy who if you look at the rankings should of schooled him. He's W.A's next world champion IMO. May be wrong but he made the step up in class and from 6 to 12 rounds very well.

The media reports of Will's 'win' was terrible. Ray Wheatley's fight news article, if you hadnt seed the fight you would have thought it was an easy wide points win. No mention of the contentious nature of the scoring. I thought Will lost.

The Daily Telegraph stated Will KD Klassen but it was ruled a push? Pretty sure it was scored a knockdown. The commentators were very quiet after the fight, considering Klassen walked out in disgust. The bias even more obvious whilst reading the international fight reports labelling it a home country cook up.

Will fought his guts out ala Katsidis but he should have lost on points IMO.

I viewed the fight couple of times & IMO, whilst Will did land a punch, it wasn't sole reason Klassen went down. Klassen threw a punch & in doing so threw himself off balance. Difficult one, but given Will landed the punch at precise moment, one would be pushed to rule it anything bar knockdown
    Both cuts were by punch
    Score margins were outrageous

IBO should be ashamed of there scoring, but we all know the fight was already decided before it started :( Tough fight for Will. Thort Klassen just edged it! hometown decisions at its best!
