Will Usyk dare to go toe to toe with the bomber?

Yeah that is a big concern. Bellew punching Usyk in the nuts and then cracking him with a big left hook or right hand as Usyk looks away to complain to the ref is a possibility too ala BJ Flores.

As much as I dislike Bellew, he can really crack with that left hook of his and he's a much improved, intelligent and crafty fighter who has underrated boxing ability and ring smarts and he's been studying Usyk meticulously and has whipped himself into the best shape of his career so he does pose a threat.

Bellew's a gargantuan hypocrite and his anti-PED rants are beyond cringe worthy.

It's true, I haven't seen a fighters feet that fast for that size since Ali. Not saying there hasn't been anyone else with as quick of feet, just not that I have noticed with the same grace.

I seriously don't. Are you suggesting they are fringe world level?

People are stupid when it comes to injuries. And i learned this from a very early age on. Had a buddy who was a football player(back when we were like 15). He suffered an injury but kept on playing. Then came the inevitable knee surgery. His trainer then rushed him right back to the field. Que another surgery. Then a year or so later again he needed surgery because they never let it heal. It was always right back into hard training.
Dude was almost a legally handicapped before he could buy beer(here the limit is 18).
    So ****ing stupid.

Luckily he recovered and even kickboxed for some years. But he dropped football due to the injuries(it cost his parents too much money)

Yes and no. That's why i added the (extra) part. Those guys are a step removed from the fringe contenders.
I guess they are journeymen with padded records. Or slightly better.

Gassiev and Breidis both definitely punch harder than Bellew, so I'd imagine he will do what he usually does, box in parts and go toe to toe in parts.

Bryant Jennings beat Mike Perez by split decision. Mairis Breidis beat Mike Perez by unanimous decision. Unanimous decision > split decision. Ergo, Breidis's win over Perez > Jenning's win over Perez.

Not only that, the scorecards were less competitive in the Breidis vs Perez fight where Breidis won by a wider margin. Meanwhile, Jennings barely beat Perez in the first place, and arguably only won due to a point deduction in favor of himself. Otherwise, that fight was conceivably a draw.

OKAY! And Bellew fought a shot David Haye, who also would've beaten Bellew in his prime. So what's your point? This is about Breidis vs Bellew and not how Breidis would've done against a prime Huck.

175 pound fighters aren't allowed to fight cruiser weights. Ergo, 175 pound fighters can't be 'superior'. If they were, the 175 pound division wouldn't even exist, or cruiser weights and light heavyweights would be in one division fighting each other. Then you'd find out exactly how 'superior' 175 pounds would be, when they get destroyed on a consistent basis by cruiser weights.

Bellew had done NOTHING at cruiser weight against a prime opponent. His best opponent (by name) is a shot David Haye. Who has always been overrated to begin with. At cruiser weight, his best win is probably Makabu. Otherwise, his light heavyweight accomplishments at cruiser weight is TOTALLY irrelevant. At cruiser weight, Breidis is undoubtedly more proven.

Cruiser weight is a new weight division that is slowly getting better! You're inability to see the quality in the division is your own problem That doesn't mean it doesn't exist!

Providing Bellews gloves aren’t loaded of course he will go toe to toe with him though in Usyk case he’d never need to go toe to toe as it were as the guy is like Lomo,in,out, there one second behind you the next and scary thought this but I’m positive he hasn’t been pushed to show us his 100% yet.

Bellew has had a nice little run.

Usyk doesnt exactly hand out beatings, so it's a good way for Bellew to end his career with some form of dignity.

But make no mistake...his ears are getting boxed off.

Bellew had to buy a lottery ticket straight after first Haye fight, it’s incredible what Hearn was able to do for him.

You’re right about Usyk not beating people to a pulp but I expect Bellew to get embarrassed come fight night.
