Will Ward pull out of the rematch?

I scored it 114-113 Ward.

I really didn't expect people to be this butthurt over a close decision.

 

Like I said, I gave Kov the nod but to act like it wasn't a close fight is just being a hater! To cry robbery is obtuse! Better fighter? Well Ward made the adjustment and Kov never got close to dropping Ward again. If Kov was the better fighter he didn't make the correct adjustment to get Ward out of there, so I must side with Ward on that one! The rematch will be interesting! I'm still gonna go with Ward! I can't side with fools like you to be honest! You guys are weird! The man crush thing and all. You take the sport too seriously and always downing other fighters...Pathetic!!! Ward 1 Kovalev 0, Ward #1 Kovalev somewhere between 3-5! He had his chance to be top dog and blew it! But what do you expect from someone that got a gift decision against a shop worn journey man, gatekeeper in Darnell Boone! LOL

 

Ward takes the rematch, unless it's held outside of the USA (which would be fair) at which point Ward bails.

Or, he bails if they bring in Russian judges (again, that would be fair).

 

I did not read the entire thread so I apologize if this came up but there is a real chance that Ward could retire. His goal was to be an eventual HOFer and this would do it for him.

 

So he practically took the affirmative action way out, get rewarded for incompetence and avoid hard work. I dont think this will get him in to the hall of fame when he clearly robbed Kova, maybe he will but I dont see it.

 

Yeah. The PPV probably bombed. So Ward will be expected to take less than $5m. He won't.

 

May I be the first to welcome you to this site! Just to let you know, there are some very knowledgeable boxing minds that frequent this site and most are very welcoming and willing to teach you things that may help you gain greater insight into the great sport of boxing. There are a few that are just disagreeable individuals that are set in their ways and no matter how well you present an argument to them they will still find ways to bash fighters they do not like. If you can get past the racial divides that sometime pop up on here , you will find this place to be very informative and entertaining. Once again, welcome to the site.

How am I deluded when I gave Kovalev the nod? What I am simply saying is, it was a close fight and understand how people gave Ward the win! If you can get out of your deluded funk maybe you can comprehend what I am saying! I give you 6 and you cry that you want a 1/2 dozen LOL
