If he really wants to play champion another few years Bridgerweight is calling.

    The Joshua train has sailed.

Should Joshua lose to Dubois, Joshua-Wilder could not be totally discounted.

Problem with Wilder is that he's an idiot, and I think after each defeat, Malik Scott is telling him how great he is, that he's destined to come back, all while his team of fellow idiots massage his shoulders while telling him "You got this, baby. You got this." I think Wilder believes in himself in an unhealthy deluded way, propelled by his team of cult-like followers.

Starting to wonder if Scott is some kind of Wormtongue character who knows Wilder is washed up but knows that's the only way he can keep making good money as a coach. The guy's coached Wilder for 5 fights, 4 of which he's lost, and with each fight Wilder is losing more and more brain cells, making him more and more suggestible to bad ideas.

That said, Wilder has been fighting pretty top guys for a while, so it'd be interesting to see him fight at a lower tier. Still good money in Chisora or Miller fights, I think, and Okolie at Bridger could be interesting.

He's been training him for 4 fights - Fury III, Helenius, Parker and Zhang. He actually tried to coach him in his Zhang fight. But as you said, Wilder's an idiot, and he was fighting as he always does. But he did start to throw more in the last round of Zhang fight before being knocked tf out. He caught Zhang with 2 right hands, but it didn't bother the Chinaman.

Nah, Wilder fired Breland after the Fury II fight, accusing him of being a mole who spiked his water, lol.

That's right. My mistake. Regardless it clearly didn't work, but I suspect Wilder wants a Yes Man and fanboy rather than a serious coach, and I'm sure Scott will happily keep filling that role.

As for Wilder letting his hands go, he did and almost immediately got slept. I suspect that's knocked out of him what little desire he had left to throw his right hand, and yet I still think he's probably being told by his team that he can still make some kind of glorious comeback (he said something since the Zhang defeat to the effect of 'he's not done,' as I recall.
