I respect your boxing knowledge Francis but Lead Right has hit the nail on the head with that comment.

    Lighten up mate.

Craig here I think you are right , Could of taken kickett a bit slower , but i think maybe the end result would have been the same, the boy isnt tough enough mentally to go all the way.

Good to see Harry's Gym posting and Craig's spot on, Kickett wasn't mentally tough enough.

Too many people on here got on the Kickett gravy train calling him 'world-class' far, far too early on in the piece and he was never world class at any stage.

He was potentially a very good, regional class fighter, nothing more, nothing less.

The awful thing was, the Elomar KO finished Willie, pure and simple. He was never the same fighter after that and you watch his fights post that KO and he was looking for that shot in all his fights.

It's a shame he's not continuing. With the stories floating about his personal issues, I genuinally hope he get's his life in order.

Cheers Craig. In hindsight, is there anything that you could have done to help him along mentally?

Its like the old saying goes, u can lead a horse to water but you cant force it to drink. Craig can only do so much, the rest is upto Kickett.
