Guys like Aztek_Cabdriver and mexican legend. Basically guys who think Mayweather was scared of Margarito rather than making bigger fights that made sense considering Margarito has done nothing when Mayweather was a new welterweight and was coming off a loss before he retired, haters to be exact.

Didn't those people say Mayweather was cherry picking?, what is Margarito doing now?, isn't he also looking to make the most money as he deserves to and Mayweather deserved to?, it's ironic that Margarito fell in the same exact position yet he's not getting criticised for it despite the fact that Mayweather has accomplished WAY more than Margarito when he was looking to make some money late in his career. Also, it's not like Mayweather was avoiding to avenge a loss unlike Margarito yet the heat on Mayweather was FAR more.

From Vivian Harris to Margarito to Cotto to DLH rematch(yeah it went that far too) to Hatton to Paul Williams and back to Margarito again. It's hilarious, where were those people when Margarito lost to Williams?, they jumped on the Cotto and Williams bandwagons just to carry the Mayweather hate and as soon as Margarito got a decent win they're on that one now.

Pretty similar to the bull**** Lennox Lewis, Roy Jones, Joe Calzaghe, Bernard Hopkins and MANY other greats got.

I think Williams"s stock has gone down sence he lost to Carlos Quintana and for some reason has not gone up despite wining the rematch with Qintana by 1st round ko. I think a second fight between Williams and Margarito will happen late 2009 or early 2010. First Williams needs to and should beat Verno Phillips at the end of the month for the WBO 154 belt. As far as I know Margarito dose not have a fight sechuled. I can see him facing Joshua Clottey the IBF champion and a rematch, Shane Mosley who's last fight was at 154. It is possible that Williams-Margarito 2 would take place at 154 and this match up along with Williams-Phillips could set up the rematch, Miguel Cotto rematch. It was a compitive fight. With his win over Cotto Margarito is in better poistion to set the terms of a rematch in terms of when and what weight. I think Margarito will wind up facing Mosley in his next fight. I think Margarito would like to fight Oscar De La Hoya assuming he beats Manny Pacquiao and dose not retire from boxing. Mosley who is a Golden Boy boxer would be the perfect steping stone for a Margarito-De La Hoya fight. If this happens Willams would find himself in an interesting suittion in terms of getting a rematch with Margarito. After Phillips dose go back to 147 where he could face one of the two other belt holders Joshua Clottey (IBF) or Andre Berto (WBC) Cotto is also possible. or he could stay at 154 and face Vernon Forrest (WBC) or Daniel Santos (WBA) who has a win over Margarito.
I think it will work out like thiis Williams beats Phillips, Margarito beats Mosley. Margarito faces and Beats De la Hoya. Willams faces and beats either Forest or Santos. Than Williams-Margarito 2 at 154.

Sorry, but his stock has never been better. He is just finding it hard to make fights for top pay. I see nothing wrong with his stock.
