Seen it mentioned here once. Article is on another competing site if you google winky wright it pops up, fresh article 11 hours ago. He brings up some decent points about not being able to get fights with HBO while guys like Arreola get an HBO date right after being dominated and KTFO. Anyways how do you think he does against Pavlik? He seemed a bit off last time out and I am worried as a Winky fan.
I don't know how much Wright has in the tank anymore, that war with Taylor definitely drained him and the subsequent battles since haven't helped.
I wouldn't mind seeing this at all, even now. But if he can't get it let him fight a tough test at 60 there are plenty.
Winky will keep coming forward and will block most of Pavlik's bombs. Winky might outwork him as well, Winky throws a bunch of punches even tho he is a defensive fighter. With all that said, I think Pavlik will wear Winky down in the later rounds and win by close decision, no KO he is KO proof. Winky will very rarely get hit with a clean shot and he wont back down and wont go against the ropes.
It's funny how most champions would do anything to avenge a loss, but Pavlik is So scared of the executioner he won't even whisper his name. lol Why don't people ask him about this? Probably because it was so embarassingly unclose.
Winky's whole problem is he thinks he's entitled to something. Arreola is a HW who fights with an exciting style and who drew huge ratings in his previous fight. Winky is an old guy with no recent big wins and a boring ass style. He was a fool to turn down $5 million for the Taylor rematch when he had a legitimate chance to win that fight.
WTF are you talking about. People only want rematches if there was a close fight, Hopkins dominated him from start to finish there is no demand for a rematch and hops is almost retired
Arreola is a fat piece of **** and cried like a little girl after he was brutally stopped. Winky is in the top 3 ATG's in history of the 154 division. History will remember Arreola as the guy Vitali made cry.

pavlik will kill winky...these are the fights that get everyone going then once it ends those same people will just say winky is washed up...which he is....of course he wants pavlik...it is for big money and a title....why the **** wouldn't he?
