Will be very slow, if you like sweet science fights then this will be your plate. However, i just see abraham taking Winky down and setting a HUGE match with Pavlik.

how? they may be similar but people tend to forget how good a counter puncher winky wright really is, thats where the fight would be won and lost who can counter better and IMO winky just all around better than Arthur Abraham apart from Punching power

I think he has a better chance against AA than Pavlik. Pavlik has the range and power to break him down. AA is shorter so he loses the range.

This we won't know until fight night - Winky is just outta th game for too long, so it's very likely that he doesn't have it anymore...

It's because of the perspective. The arm is closer to the camera objective so it looks much bigger. Big arms, yeah. But not THAT big from a normal camera distance.

 He is the owner of a piece of paper called German passport, but that doesnt mean ****.

He is still an Armenian. An Armenian with a piece of paper called German passport. And as you may know Armenia like Russia,Iran,or Afganistan is not part of europe.

A year ago I would have picked Winky over AA, but now I'm not so sure. It's really irrelevant at this point because no one other than Slappy Joe would be allowed to disrupt Pavlik/Abraham in January.

Geographically, Armenia is right on the border, and culturally, Armenia is more European than Asian (as opposed to its neighbor, Azerbaijan, which is more Asian culturally).

As I'm sure you are aware, the vast majority of Russia's population is in Europe.

As for Tom's assertion that he's never heard anyone argue that Armenia is in Europe, all you have to do is google "Armenia Asia Europe" and you'll see that there's quite a bit of debate as to which continent Armenia actually belongs in. The UN and the CIA classify Armenia as in Asia; Armenia itself, as well as the EEC and the UK classify Armenia as part of Europe.

Not sure how all this is relevant to a boxing match though. Abraham fights out of Germany with a German promoter, and thus will get all the benefits of a German fighter if a fight is in Germany.

Even with that advantage, I think I'd favor Winky over Abraham, although it would be close. Abraham would have trouble landing clean shots on Winky, and even though Winky sometimes takes rounds off, he's generally much more active than Abraham. Abraham tends to win rounds because of his power and accuracy, but I don't think he'll be able to bust too many through Winky's gloves.

Very difficult to predict. I go for AA, because he always has the puncher's chance. This fight will probably be harder for him than a fight against Pav.
