With 9 successful title defenses, isn't Wilder already an ATG at Heavyweight

Fury totally outboxed him, but his power is always a threat . That's what makes it fascinating. He is an ATG for me. Achieved more than Foreman who blew out 3 small heavyweights and did nothing else and is talked about like a God !
Quality and longevity is a rare combination, see Ali , Lewis, Louis , Holmes , that's why they'll always be the top 4 for the foreseeable, now if a Wilder Joshua Fury type , beat the other 2 right now, he would definitely be an ATG.

If Wilder beats one of the top guys such as AJ, Usyk Povetkin, Parker, Whyte and Pulev then I will start respect him.

Beating the likes of Brezeale, Arreola, Szpilka, Stiverne and Washington doesn't make you ATG.

Without wanting to seem mean spirited I seriously doubt he's capable of making any significant further adjustments at his age and stage of development. In the Fury fight I thought we'd see evidence of Breland's cunning in Deontay's performance and it just wasn't there. I think they've come to the conclusion that its better to match him appropriately and go with his strengths. In turn that leads to Ortiz and Kownacki, both of whom he beats, before he risks it all again against either of the other two leading guys.
