1st of all Witter is desperate for a payday, so would take a Cotto fight in a second. 2nd, Witter was a novice pro when he fought Judah and didn't have much time to get ready for the fight.

I think if they fought this year, Witter would possibly stop Judah. He has improved greatly since their first fight and Judah has declined and proven to be erratic.

    That logic is highly flawed.

Cotto isn't the same fighter he was at 140. He's stronger, has shown to have a solid chin, and has improved technically and defensively.

I genuinley believe and get laughed at for thinking this....but i do think witter has maybe one of the best shots at beating mayweather out of everyone around right now.....hear me out before you skip and laugh...., theres no way on earth hes gonna outpoint mayweather, so plain and simple hes gotta stop him, and i believe he has the shots to do so, straight up boxers get no where near Ko-ing flloyd, they are just too predictable for him, witters unorthadox shots may be something flloyd aint used to and could, i say could catch him, flame away if you like lads but if the fight happened id risk a weeks wage on a possible witter ko. Its along shot i know but i think witter would go ALL OUT for the early ko, if it gets past 3 rounds witters outpointed easily.

If he became undisputed light wlter champ and/or beat ricky hatton then it would be worth moving up, thats the only way the big fighters will bother with him.
