castillo looked **** against ngoudjo and hatton looked **** against urango

if anybody would have preferred hatton to fight witter at that point in their careers ahead of castillo then they were in the minority

And very well done to him. He's beaten Vivian Harris, he fought very well. But it's been a good 4 months, and STILL nothing looks close to being arranged. You don't sit around for 4 months when you are at your peak talking about how Hatton's ducking you and how you want to fight the p4p #1 in a totally unrealistic fight

It's not good enough. It could be another 3/4 months until he actually gets in the ring at this rate and it's not as if the Harris fight was particularly hard work

He can try to get fights with Rees, maybe Torres and confirm his status as the best junior welter around. Failing that he could move up to 147, as he could beat Mayweather supposedly. The other welters will be easy work then...

The point is, as a Brit, I want to see Junior on the world stage instead of fighting infront of 200 in Yorkshire. He doesn't need Hatton to do that, and the excuses for Witter not going to America and getting big fights are as lame as Hatton's for not fighting him

Im not disagreeing.Witter is continuing his career and must build on the Harris win in order to be taken seriously or gain more credibility. But the Hatton fight must happen as they are both the divisions 1 and 2.For this match not to happen considering they are both British would be a travesty.

I would love it to happen, I like them both

But when all said and done, nobody is going to look back at Witter and think "Yeah he was amazing, Hatton ducked him". They are going to be thinking what a waste of ****ing talent, unless he starts getting more proactive

Your one of the biggest wankers on this site you just read half of what people write and then come up with some more biased ****, you might have noticed that i and pretty much everyone else wants the fight to happen but witter hasn't made it easy. He is a boring fighter with hardly any fans that most tv companies will not go anywhere near you seem to forget this every time your open your mouth about how hattons ducking him. Do you seriously think that your the only person with any kind of knowledge of the sport, perhaps you should stop with the weight training and try training your mind abit rather than being a big headed wanker.

You can only be as proactive as the shots that are given you.Witter has been in the "who needs him club" since turning pro.His been avoided because his high risk for no reward. The fact that he was dropped by Frank joined Hennesy became a tribple domestic champ and then a world champ is a testament to his proactiveness and class as a world class athlete.

I buy that to an extent, but there is always a way. Some people have it easy (Hatton) and some have to do it the hard way. Winky-Wright is a classic example. Pretty boring, incredibly good, and eventually he got his shots. Witter hasn't gone to America. He hasn't always fought like he did in the Harris fight. Basically, he hasn't helped himself
