Have just read that the WBC have stripped Bradley for refusing his [FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]mandatory (vs Alexander)[/FONT] and have ordered a match between Witter vs Alexander for the vacant title.
i hope it happens heard alexander was poor at weekend and i think junior needs this big time because he needs to fight at world title level consistently at his age. get the wbc strap back then hunt for big paydays.
Jeez Bradley should fight whoever they put in front of him. No one cares enough for him to be picking and choosing opponents. Witter if he has anything left can pull off a win and then hopefully get a fight on with Ajose once Ajose steps up from 6 rounders.
Who was Bradley intending to fight..... surely keeping the WBC belt would be better for his carrer and a potencial match up with the winner of Manny v Hatton
He did not refuse to face Alexander, he is more than happy to have that fight, but he is fought Holt in a unification. i find it discusting that the WBC are stripping Bradley but good luck to Witter. This could end up on the undercard of Mayweather vs ??? if King is involved with Mayweather. Amazing exposure for Witter in a winnable fight.
This'll be good news for Junior, I spoke to him only the other day and he didn't know where the situation stood with Bradley and the WBC. As far as he was concerned he was fighting McCloskey in the summer. If Witter can repeat the performance against Harris I reckon he'd KO Alexander.
