Well, Malignaggi was ****. Having a haircut during a fight is just embarrassing. He looked good for maybe three rounds in the middle. Hatton threw some brilliant punches tonight, but he shipped some good ones as well. His stamina was much improved. Hatton showed he's the number 1 at the weight, Malignaggi left question marks about his ability.
I put Radio 5 Live on when rollochsoch got called away. It seemed like 1 way traffic. But Bunce said afterwards that Lazcano was finding the target easy.
Easily the funniest moment in boxing history, I don't know what would be second but it isn't even isn't close. Malignaggi in the 8th, a big lump of hair over his face, stares at N'dou at the end of the round... and looks like a fooking idiot. Then gets a hair cut of his cornerman. Brilliance. :happy
He had a knot of hair that started as a pony tail sat on his forehead and dangling over his eyes. I kid you (k)not....He looked a right muppet.
The state it got into in the 8th was a real sight. Pineapple head doesn't do it justice. I thought from the first round that they should just cut it, shame it took them so long to finally do it.
Lascano had a good round in the 10th(?) but TBH the result was never in amy doubt. I was ina pub so didn't score it properly but I'd say Lazcano won 1 round and maybe drew another 2. I think thats being pretty charitable as well...
It's amazing what a corner can do for a fighter in between rounds but a hair cut, bet that made Paulie pout (well more than usual anyway)
