I was telling Wlad fans years ago that just because his KO percentage is better than tyson and Foreman's meant nothing, and that it was misleading.

My theory was that since he came in the ring in shape, and having 20+ pounds of muscle more then his fat ass out of shape opponents that it just looked better on paper. I was telling them that fighters today go up to heavy weight because they can eat what they want, and don't have to worry about making weight.

Well my theory was tested last saturday, Wlad is in with a guy who came in at 215 in the weigh in, and vitali even spoke of as not being a true heavy weight because of his size. Wlad landed some cleans right hands that would of dropped his other fat ass opponents, but only one wobbled haye the whole night, and he being Wlad still couldn't finish him off.

If you put Wlad in an era where HW's came in shape, then his KO would still be fairly decent, but not as high as it is now

P.S I still think the Klits are Hall of famers, but I don' think they are underrated nor overrated as some see them to be, they just are who they are.

not really, Haye just has excellent movement with his legs and upper body, he was slipping a shitload of punches, he just wasn't countering or throwing to the body.

Overrated because of opposition, blah blah...

No one thinks the Klitschko's are top 10 heavyweights.

People usually say 15-30, which is correct in my view.

There is something to this. Haye has a proven glass jaw, yet Wlad didn't send him to the canvas once. He either didn't go for it, or he doesn't hit as hard as advertised. Haye SHOULD have been residing on ***** street Saturday

Let the person who started this thread agree to take a punch from Vlad. Haye ran like Hell as I said he would.

So... because a fighter actually made it to the final bell... while hardly throwing punches and playing defense, running, ducking and hiding... Wlad's KO percentage is the most overrated in history? Did you eat paint chips as a kid?

Yes. Get with the program. Wlad cannot win without it taking away from his already weak legacy at this point. Most of Foreman's knockouts came against ATGs. **** off, Klitlicker.

All these guys had never been knocked down (that i can remember) and none of them had ever been stopped.

Chambers *The ringside doctor said he actually stopped breathing for about 15-20 seconds and he was about to start to try resuscitating him but he started breathing on his own again*
    Chagaev
    Thompson
    Brewster
    Brock
    Mercer
    Schultz
Peter (va Mccline but had a busted eardrum)

    Edit - Peter Mccline

Its beyond obvious that Haye took a lot of sting out of Wlads punches due to his reflexes/head movement.

That's what I thought too and the second watch confirmed that.

Not actually so bad fight to watch again. Excitement was still there.

That's stupid twat, you can't have a "overrated KO percentage" because a KO percentage isn't an subjective thing. Change the damn title to "overrated power".

A ko percentage is just that, it's more telling when accompanied by opponents win percentage and even better with opponents ko loss percentage...

It is what it is, it's one part of the story on Wlad...
