I don't know. Wlad has had many great performances. However, this is obviously an amazing performance. Especially considering the fact that it was a fight to decide the True Champion of the division.

How does a fight with Chagaev determine a true heavyweight champion? Were we watching the same fat guy who just stood there against Wlad?

That fight was for nothing but paper titles in my book. i've played softball against girls who look like they can put up a better fight than Chagaev... He wasn't even trying. It's not about what Wlad did. It's about what Chagaev didn't do. and BTW, chagaev didn't do ANYTHING.

Tyson, Ali, Lewis, Louis, Liston has fought better competitsion then Wlad opponents he beat easily so of course Wlad have better ko percentage. If a prime Tyson, Prime Ali, Prime Lewis fought the same fighters that Wlad fought, any one of them would get a better ko percentage.

    :patsch Good lord.

Go take a look at Lewis' competition and accomplishments by age 33. Then take a long, hard, unbiased look at Wlad's. Wlad is leaps and bounds above Lewis at the same age. Lewis managed to NOT fight the other best 5 fighters of his own era while they were at the top of their game. Mike Tyson, Evander Holyfield, Riddick Bowe, Michael Moorer and George Foreman. Lewis also NEVER even fought a left handed fighter. He waited until all of the other stars of the division burnt out, before he came into the limelight. Then after Lewis became the True Champ by beating a washed up Holyfield... Lewis' reign as Champion was EXTREMELY weak.

It was a total domination of a really good fighter. Hard to tell exactly how sharp Chagaev was, and it probably doesn't matter. The only difference might have been Chagaev making it across the line for a shut out. Astonishing performance, really.

Lewis was far more impressive when he unified the titles - he was so impressive he earnt a draw in a Don King fight

He's certainly fought in a weaker division.

So Wlad resumes is better then Ali resumes? Tyson resumes? Lewis resumes? Liston resumes? If not then like i said "of course his ko percentage is better".

Have you ever heard of Louis' bum of the month club?

You are looking at fighters who are retired and have had their careers buffed up and bronzed. Also, fighters with a complete body of work to look back upon who are finished with their careers. The same fighters who were bashed in their day for lack of competition, lack of excitement, glass chin, front runners, ect... In 15 years people will look back and be blown away at what Wlad has done. Wait and see.

For all you Noobi Lewis nut huggers.

Lewis was as hated as the Klitchko's combined. him being a furnier and all. The guy "Glass Jaw" Lewis spoke a foreign tongue too...English.

Lewis was considered Boring, and when he wasn't the guy was overated like Grant.

Samo Samo, by either the same folks or thier younger brothers.

I really didn't find his win over the 37 year old Holyfield to be that impressive. As a matter of fact... many people felt that the old Holyfield won.

if Vitali announces his retirement, then you can say Wlad is the true heavyweight champ. Until then its still disputable

Dude are you that stupid? Lewis competitsion is far better then Wlad resumes. Holyfield wasn't washed up when he fought Lewis. He was past his prime but wasn't washed up and was actually the favorite to beat Lewis in the first fight. A prime Mercer or a prime Briggs that Lewis fought would have ko Chagaev alot earlier. It's not Lewis fault that both Tyson in 96 and Bowe in 92-93 avoided to fight Lewis. Micheal Moorer? lol. Dude are you ******ed? Did you just mention Foreman? The same Foreman who clearly said he would never fight Lewis cause he knows he'll get beat up?
