Wlad have 3 belts and this only because of politics. Wlad wants to unify against Maskeav in 2007, Maskaev refused to fight Wlad and Wlad wants to unify against Valuev.

So it is obviously who is The Heavyweight Champion! Wladimir Klitschko.

Didn't Haye only have the WBC and WBA belts?

Its not like Wlad is ducking. Maskaev, Valuev, and chagaev all said NO. At least Wlad is trying to unify. :deal

As far as I know, Haye had the WBC, WBA, WBO and The Ring belts. He was also linear, having beaten 'the man'.

Wlad has the WBO and IBF titles.

There is a big difference there, one is indisputabley the champion, the other is arguabley the best in the division.

in todays world of boxing politics ... If 1 guy has 50% and the other 50% is split with 2 guys...then the guy holding 50% is the champion IMO

We may never see a unified champ at HW again... WLAD has the best shot
As long as Wlad holds more then the other champs, he is HW CHAMP:happy

Haye should have fought and beat then IBF champ Cunninghman. Then he could claim to be undisputed. He was not.

What has geography got to do with being able to distinguish between a champion and a belt holder?

So, Haye was linear; he had the WBC, WBA, WBO and The Ring titles, but he wasn't really the champion?

Yet, Wlad only has the WBO and IBF titles, but he is really the champion?

That is an epic double standard.

Your bias here is obvious to everyone but you. Haye is THE champ without all the belts but Wald is not? Why?

It will be a real shame if Wald does not fight Haye. Taylor will get rid of the Frochluddites but they seem to be the same people in most cases as the Hayeturds. That is why we need this fight. Clear out the board.

We forget that one of the motives for Vitali's return was to help the Klitschko name acquire all four major title belts. Then WBC champ Maskaev did not fight Wladimir and that's about when Vitali announced his return.

You can be pretty sure that WBC Peter would not have voluntarily fought Wladimir in unification, not with King owning 50% of him. So Vitali coming back and taking the WBC from Peter was a major dagger thrown into Don King's anti-unification plans. Now King and Sauerland will desperately try to keep the WBA belt with Valuev and away from the Klitschkos. By doing so it discredits the Klitschkos and clouds the situation so the lesser minded can't conclude who the real HWT champ is.

Just as when Byrd and Ruiz held the IBF and WBA belts - and King refused unification with Vitali - it discredited Vitali to some degree. Eventhough every human being knows Vitali would have slaughtered Byrd and Ruiz with ease and would have unified.
