I think they rank around the same, in the top 15-20.

And Wlad is climbing steadily. Nothing harder to do in boxing than dominate.

Wlad has achieved a consistency Walcott at his best couldn't achieve. That counts for something.

I'd love to see the two fight though. I think it'd be a seriously interesting match.

You might be thinking of Moore? Walcott was a natural heavyweight and never fought at a lower weight than that. Not to my knowledge at least.

Walcott never dominated. Wlad has for the past half dozen years, at least.

Walcott is a lot of flash and a decent amount of substance. All that fancy footwork doesn't do much for me because a lot of it really wasn't that effective in an offensive sense. And the beautiful hook-uppercut he finished Charles with? I have seen him fail with that same lead many times and get clocked. But the one time we remember it, it was in a KO. On the balance he was more Hat than Cattle.

Walcott was 190 pounds, Klitschko 245 pounds. Both highly skilled. And you think Walcott ko's him in 1 round? Serious trolling right there.

yeah when it comes to wlad, ya just can't really take notice of anything dino says.

even taking into account the few points he makes, he's far too emotionally attached to wlad.

maybe dino is actually pea wolfgramm and thinks wlad stole his career.

But its true Luf, i make nothing up.

Answer me this? Ross Purity had 13 loses before he beat Wlad. Some of those guys who beat him were complete nobody's. Club fighters. Never heard of's.
The defence for Wlad was he was too green and punched himself out or whatever....
But how were those absolute bottom feeders capable of doing something an olympic gold medalist with 25 pro fights could not??
Were those unknown guys better than Wlad at that stage in his career?
Lets not forget his bewilderment when he couldn't land his 1-2 on Haye and chose to sit back and wait for the judge's.

Consider this... Tyson who had no business in a boxing ring and was completely finished went longer with a fresher Lewis than Vitali did. Holyfield who had lost his power and was past it went 24 rounds with a fresher Lewis.

Neither brother has the skill or ability of an ATG and boxing writers will judge them accordingly.

Yes wlad gassed, stranger **** has happened. For 90% of the fight wlad dominated but he couldn't finish the fight. Look at gypsy Daniels who battered the man who would go onto batter Louis. **** happens in boxing. The reason everyone ranks wlad higher is his achievements post 05.

Any what does vitali have to do with anyone, the two brothers are actually different people you know.

Purity, a heavy hitter, was giving him a rundown beatdown and he couldn't hold up, but plenty other far lesser fighters could and also got the win.
I know talent when i see it and Wlad is not an ATG fighter.
In 2005 he almost lost to Peter a massive hypejob similar in style to Jeff Lacy and just as bad.
Look what happened to Lacy when he stepped up. He was slapped silly and lost all 12 rounds.
When Peter stepped up against the "best in the division " he almost knocked him clean out and had him running away for his life.

I had a point to make about Vitali and i made it.

    Watch the fight.

Yes Peter landed some leather alright but wlad got back up and came close to dropping him in the last. Plus noone regarded wlad the best in the world going into that fight, no one. He was barely even top ten.

seems a bit of a random point to make. Tua did better against Ike than Byrd did.

One of the few things that Wlad and Walcott have in common, is damaging early losses.

Ive seen the Purity fight. Dont be childish. Ive followed Wlad for a long time.

He is the best in the division , i wasn't solely referring to 2005. His struggle with Peter is a blotch against him. The guys was useless , if he had any stamina he would of cought up with him and knocked him out.
He is extremely lucky the division was a wasteland.

Walcot is the greater fighter and will remain in the history books as being greater.
