NO ****in' way. :-( Frazier is too small & Wlad's jab & power would beat him all day from the outside.
I like Wlad, but for me...Vitali is the greater in terms of H2H match-ups throughout history. Vitali is willing to trade, Wlad is not.
Because the Klitschko's were winning every H2H poll and every Great vs Great poll, so the hater's have went to the extrme in their polls! PATHETIC!!!!!
Definitely...but Vitali seems very confident about his chin and ability to take a punch. Wlad does not. If anyone throughout history could avoid or counter Wlad's jab and land regularly with hard shots (and there have been boxers who I believe could)...well, it would be interesting to see. Like the brothers themselves say, Vitali is the born fighter...
True. The haters here think little Rocky Marciano, Joe Frazier, Mike Tyson or Jack Dempsey would wreck Wladimir inside a round. I'm not saying that it couldn't happen but realistically with Wlad's current style they'd be lucky to land let alone knock out a guy that's never been "one & done."
That much is true. Vitali actually seems to enjoy punishing his opponents and he doesn't seem to mind taking a few to give a few. Like I said though, that style can come back to bite you.
Vitali has an unbelievable chin, but if he shows it to the wrong guy (throughout history)...it's not out of the question that he could be knocked out. Just like it's not out of the question for Wlad to keep an ATG throughout history behind his jab whilst peppering them with right hands and left hooks.
Some serious match ups would be Wladimir vs. Joe Louis for instance. Joe had incredible power and a great jab of his own. He also proved he could beat a much bigger fighter when he beat Buddy Baer, & Carnera. But Wladimir has much better skill & speed than Carnera or Baer.
What's interesting about this poll is Wald is only down by two vots. it just keeps backfireing on the haters!:yep
I bet if I made a poll "Wlad vs. Mary Poppins" tthat Mary would win quite a few votes here at ESB...............sad but true.
Impossible to say one way or the other. Early Foreman's biggest advantage was size & power. That's why he was known as "Big" George Foreman. He wouldn't be that big at all by today's standards................ Tyson is a huge question mark head to head. He could come out swinging early & catch Wladimir and I wouldn't be surprised but I can just as easily see Wladimir using his jab & reach to discourage Tyson from coming in and beating him from the outside by mid to late TKO. Buster Douglas did it & there's nothing Buster did that Wlad doesn't do better from the outside. Wladimir has much more power than Buster too.
Young Foreman technically did everything wrong. He only prevailed because he could impose his size and strength on his often smaller opponents. He left A LOT of openings between his punches and that could be his downfall against a one-punch-KO-power type of guy like Wladimir Klitschko. Vitali-Foreman would be a war like Foreman-Lyle, but Vitali had a better chin and better skills than Lyle.
