Wlad Klitschko vs Earnie Shavers

I would have to make Klitschko the favourite but no money is going down.

Definitely could happen, but I would be inclined to go with Wlad as the more consistent.

 

Shavers is getting really overly glorified here. Wlad by late KO.

 

Wlad by mid round knockout. Wlad dominated shavers at long range, winning every round, then brutally knocking him out cold. Shavers has a punchers chance if Wlad has a panic attack. people do not realize how hard Wlad hits. He is one of the hardest hitters of all time. he has legit one punch knockout power in both hands.

 

Wlad by late round KO in a boring fight. Wlad would be even more cautious than normal, box Shavers and jab him down.

 

Shavers of 1973 to 1977 has NO CHANCE against the 2006 to the present Wlad Klit........ NONE! Klit far too superior for Shavers......... 'Nuff said.......

Klitschko! Of course there is always a chance that Wladimir gets KO'd, but Wladimir is the better fighter and would beat Shavers 2 out of 3 if not 3 out of 3.

 

yes he does. shavers has a huge chance of KOing wlad. if he can floor Ali, and holmes, then I think he can floor wlad with that classic overhand right.
as long as wlad doesn't get punched with a big right hand-the kind Ali and holmes got hit with-he stops shavers in the late rounds.
but I wouldn't bet a penny on this fight because shavers could very well knock out wlad EASY.

Shavers would not do well at having to reach up to 6' 7" tall for Wlad Klit.....

Shavers in his prime gets his ass whooped by a 2010 Wlad Klit....

Go to about 2:20. A punch definitely connected.
If Greater men then Wlad can get knocked down then by shavers then I think wlad could get knocked out.

I too think wlad can win this, but Shavers could too. I wouldn't be surprised to see Shavers knock his ass out.

 

Ummm...NO punch landed. I have rewatched it like 10 times. the right hand missed by like 2 feet.

 

ok, so the guy made a mistake with the Ali knockdown, bad example. But there are other examples of Shavers fine punching power and to be honest, theres no way (IMO) that Wlads KO losses were to people any stronger or as hard-punching as Shavers. Ergo how can people be so dismissive of shavers chances

 

Because Wlad is a different animal now than then. He got better, much better. This Wlad is heh very hard to beat and only by fighters a class above Shavery I think. Ernie has the puncher´s chance but that´s it.
