Now that is unfair. Didn't you see the great indestructible force that is Vitali Klitschko? Remember when he beat the young, full-time fighter, fit, and active Corrie Sanders? Remember when he beat the well-conditioned Kirk Johnson? The great Danny Williams, who beat a healthy young Mike Tyson in 4 rounds? When he beat Chris Byrd? Oh wait.... When he willingly took on his #1 contender in Hasim Rahman, without hesitation, and got in the ring with him, and took care of business? Oh wait... He faced Lennox Lewis, later saying that Lewis was heavy in not in good shape. But regardless of Lewis's poor conditioning, he took care of business. Here are some photos from that fight in case everyone forgot. This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected
Don't go bringing your common sense and boxing knowledge into this thread man, Tyson is a mythical figure on this forum, there have been no reported sightings of him in his prime, but tales of him stalking the earth eating entire villages full of children are widespread. Suggestions that he would be defeated by Joe Louis are greeted with derisive laughter.
this is obnoxious...most people like myself barely have enough time to get on here and discuss real boxing topics then we have half wits like yourself posting BS because you have nothing better to do go wack it to your gay porn and get off this site
Lewis, Holyfield & Wlad all beat Tyson - prime for prime IMO. Tyson would never beat the jab. Buster's jab had Tyson befuddled, Wlad's would discourage him & the right hand would keep him honest. Same thing Lewis did to Tyson. Holyfield beats Tyson 10 out of 10 times.
RUSKULL it's amazing how many times since '04 I've written **** and then had to erase it because you were right on point good look man
Tyson's prime was when he beat Bonecrusher, Biggs, Old Spinks, Old Holmes, etc. Peter McNeeley anyone?
..............and even I don't write off Tyson's chances early. Mike starts early, Wlad starts late. Let's be realistic here folks, head to head Wlad has the advantage. Mike has aggression, speed & power but Wlad has precision, speed & power. Nice matchup on paper, after all, Mike did overwhelm many an opponent on agggression alone but Wladimir sets up & stalks his opponent like a lion waiting to lower the BOOM.
None of them fought Tyson at his peak although Holyfield fought a decent version of Tyson. Lewis beat a washed up Tyson as evidenced in his previous performance against Nielson in his prior bout. If bums like Purrity, Brewster, and Sanders can KO a peak Wlad; why not Tyson?
Cool, but I'm serious, Mike was great but Wlad could very well be his kryptonite. He has speed enough to land against one of the most elusive HW's of our generation - Chris Byrd.
