Wlad Planning to Fight Haye Next?

If they can draw 4x the amount of people in Europe and get paid in euros's why the **** would they want to fight in the usa?

Unless you're Pac or Floyd usa fights don't sell ****. the top american fighters are lucky to even sell out 8000 person venue.

 

Gate receipts aren't the be all and end all of being a draw and making money. Floyd might fight Shane in front of 15,000 but he will make more for that then Wlad will have made in his whole career.

No one wants to see a 6foot7 monster tentatively pick apart a 6foot feather fisted dwarf, well, no one but the Germans.

 

Wlad should fight Povetkin next. If Povetkin wants another tuneup, **** him and let him fight an eliminator against Peter. Meanwhile, Wlad should fight Haye.

 

If i was Haye i wouldn't fight in Germany either, you aren't allowed to win there as a visiting fighter.

This fight should be on neutral grounds in the US.

 

Well he got the nod versus Valuev to be fair, although I don't think that Haye-Wlad fight would go the distance, so it wouldn't really matter.

Haye's drawing power has increased massively since Valuev. You can't compare any of his numbers before then because they're irrelevant now. The Klits do good business but the real money is from PPV. Wlad might have 60,000 in the stadium but Haye sold 800,000 PPVs in the UK for the Valuev fight and Wlad is on free to air German TV. In terms of money generated Haye is not far from the Klits now and his star is rising.

I understand what you're saying though but once again, that's Floyd, in his first real fight in over half a decade, # 1 draw in the sport.

My only point is pretty well summarized by your last statement. Most Americans don't care about HW's so why would Klitschko care about fighting there when he can earn huge money in Europe.

Completely agree. If Adamek Arreola isn't an eliminator i'd love to see him fight the winner of that more than Peter.

I don't know. It would be pretty messed up if a unification fight taking place in the US may not be picked up by US tv. Because as much while Wlad seems to have lost the faith of US TV, Haye's last two fights were not picked up statewide either.

Maybe they can fight in Belgium or Monaco.
