If Mormeck who was the man at CW not long ago for a number of years is seen as such a bad opponent for Wlad then that just goes to show just how highly rated Wlad's last 20/30 or so opponents must have been thought of.
That was 4 years ago though, and at CW as you say. What's he done at Heavy? Got past Maddalone, a very dodgy win over Oquendo and a split over Timor Ibragimov. Wow. Someone hold me up. He hasn't fought in almost a year, and has only fought 3 times during those 4 years. Add to this a general air of "moved up for the money", like a fair few cruisers in the past, and no wonder people think so little of this opponent. I don't blame Wlad a bit, no-one much else out there making themselves available at the moment. But I'd forgive him for smoking a pipe and having his slippers on during training for this one.
If Wlad beats Mormeck well I suppose I would place it down as Wlad's 25/30th best win, somewhere around there anyway, a better win than Ray Austin. Achievements at CW never mean much to me anyway. I always just look at it as a stepping stone division for natural heavies anyway. Probably any one of about 15 heavies could drop down to CW and clean up that division very easily in my opinion while still being the same weight on fight night as they would be at heavy.
Mormeck is the guy that Haye sparked the **** out at CW, what, 4 years ago? He's also the guy with a HW resume that makes Haye look like Ali, but somehow Haye was 'undeserving' of a shot but Mormeck is? ****ing hypocrites. Better he doesn't fight at all than this mismatch.
Mormeck has 3 solid wins at his short time at HW. His win over Maddalone is better than Tarver's over Aguilera. Also, JLOT claims he wants the fight, but what has he done lately in the division, and imagine Wlad in there instead of Ledbedev.:admin

Who said Haye didn't deserve a shot? He's still the 4th best HW in the division and could win back his WBA strap anytime he chooses. He's is finally physically maturing and could go as high as 240 with proper diet and training, and could potentially beat Helenius once Robbe becomes undisputed..... We have'nt heard the last from the Hayemaker.
Just because there is interest in this fight doesn't mean we expect a great or even a remotely competitive fight. The heavyweight champ could fight anybody in the world and there would be interest I think that's a bit much This isn't like Mayweather sitting in retirement when there are a dozen people willing to fight, and 3 or 4 that would really capture the public's interest. Practically every fighter in boxing has a few natural opponents that we'd like to see them fight, but almost uniquely that isn't the case for the Klitschkos because none of these guys are willing to fight right now- for any money. It's better to fight somebody than nobody I was under the impression a fight with Toney was suggested at one point a year or so ago and it didn't get sanctioned. For good reason when you see Toney's last fight. Knee injury or not he was in for a beating Toney's age ruined that fight
It wasnt sanctioned last December by IBF because Toneys MMA ventures and inactivity in boxing ring. WBO had no problems with it tought.
Toney's finished and for the good of his health, I hope he never gets a shot against either Klitschko.
You have League Klitchko and then everyone else. :rofl @those that believed Haye was in League Klitchko. Therein lies the problem. There is NO heavy weight willing to fight them that stands a chance. Povetkin would at least make an interesting fight but he got "Haye Fever". Even David mostly got over that, at least until he got into the ring. with Wlad when he obviously suffered a severe relapse.
