Stylisticaly and technicaly, he was prety close to Wlad. Certainly much much more so than Willard.

No he was not as good as Wald, but he wasn't exactly giving Dempsey stylistic problems en route to loosing either.

    Styles make fights.

Are you sure he wouldn't think "another big stiff like Willard huh?"

Ha ha ah! Its good to see that some people believe in a magic, hard race of a different breed that is now extinct. Its good to have a mystical fantasy ideal that can never be lived up to.

Dempsey was outstanding, tough and could box abit. But he was small and inconsistant. Got beaten ultimately by a non punching light heavy.

Klit is outstanding, not the same epitome of toughness by any stretch, but he isnt a soft boy. Can box alot. Punches very very hard. Hasnt been beaten in a very long time and doesnt look like being so any time soon.

Apart from all that use your ****ing eyes. Wlad knocks Dempsey out within 3 rounds or whenever he pleases. It is a physical mismatch between great fighters. The size gap can never be breached when the skill level is similar (I would say Jack is a natural fighter, Wlad is a natural athlete, very well schooled in boxing)

Men are still men, whatever era they come from, bigger, better conditioned ones wipe out smaller ones. Simples.

Styles make fights when 2 equal boxers are pitted together, the string of **** you have pictured could bring any style he liked but the floor would be well and truly wiped with his basic ass.

Be realistic man, carl thompson would batter that. Wlad he is not.

But sometimes, if once in a blue moon, it dosn't work out this way.

Dempsey is one of the outstanding cases in point.

I like Dempsey a lot, but I think Wlad´s jab would be too much for him....

Wladimir would defeat Dempsey on Dempsey's best day. I know a lot of you guys think Dempsey is Superman, but let's be realistic. The skilled size of either Klitschko or Lennox Lewis would be too much for little Dempsey.

Willard actualy did that to somebody with an uppercut once, but Dempsey still destroyed him.

This was not a guy who had any issues about fighting opponents as big and hard hitting as Wlad.
