If Marciano got inside, which he wouldn't in the first place, a prime Klitschko would simply tie him up in a clinch. The green version of Klitschko didn't really understand that concept. Also, btw, I think Sanders and a lot of other heavyweights would have beaten Rocky into a bloody pulp. For example; Lennox Lewis, Mike Tyson, Evander Holyfield, Larry Holmes, Michael Moorer, Muhamad Ali, Joe Frazier, Jerry Quarry, George Foreman, probably Gerry Cooney, Ray Mercer, Riddick Bowe, Andrew Golota, David Tua, Sonny Liston. Jimmy Young and Chris Byrd would box circles around him. Marciano was king of one of the crappiest eras of heavyweights ever, if not THE crappiest era of heavyweights.

Jeez! atsch Dude Marciano beat some very good fighters in his time. I think even his beating of Louis was very comparable to Lennox Lewis beating of Tyson. They were both the same age. Yes, that Sanders would beat Marciano to a bloody pulp. If a light heavyweight punched Marciano's nose off I can only imagine what a fighter who is faster and hits harder would do to him. Marciano is the most overrated boxer of all time. Quarry would beat him, Cooney would beat him, really there's a lot of guys since him who were and are much better. Take a look at the winning percentage of his competition and compare it to other champion's opponent's winning percentage and you'll start getting an idea of what I'm talking about. My honest opinion is that Marciano built his reputation from going undefeated while competing against guys who wouldn't be B list fighters today eg LaStarza or would not even be heavyweights today. If Marciano was around today and I was his manager he wouldn't even be in the ring fighting larger men. I think Sanders would tear through him the way he tore through Bobby Czyz considering Czyz is close to Marciano's stature, a bit heavier and probably equally fast as Marciano with a comparable chin, which is not a ridiculous assertion considering Marciano never faced a fighter capable as punching as hard as today's heavies. His chin is famed for withstanding the bombs of opponents who weighed around 190lbs or so and even then the Rock landed on the canvas a few times.
If Marciano was around today he'd probably be about 205-210, because he would probably be on supplements that they didn't have then or roids like some of these other guys. La Starza was a really good fighter. Heck even Ali struggled with guys that were 183 pounds. Marciano beat some great fighters. Champions like Charles, Walcott and Louis. Louis was 218 pounds when they met. He was a bit past his prime but still a very good fighter. I believe that he was on a seven fight win streak. Very comparable to Holyfield when he fought Tyson or Lewis when he fought Tyson. Actually when Holyfield fought and beat Tyson for the Title he was 4-3 his previous seven fights. Holyfield was considered a blown up cruiser by many.
In their time Marciano and Klitschko fought under a different set of rules, and a different level of rule enforcement. Marciano had a solution for bums like Klitchko who turn boxing into a grappling contest, headbutts and elbows are an effective way of reducing or eliminating needless clinching. Klitschko doesn't like to get hit, one elbow to the face will stop him from clinching. If he is forced to fight all 15 rounds, would Klitchko be man enough to do it? We have seen how he reacts under pressure. I am not so sure that Marciano could actually beat Klitschko, it would likely be a case of Klitschko beating himself. It would not surprise me to see Klitschko collapse under the relentless pressure that Marciano would put him under.
