Tua would have to be pretty crazy to take the fight at this stage

Right. The good fights are not available right now, and I think Klit is merely staying sharp by fighting Tua. it is a decently exciting matchup, with the power Tua brings, as well as the power AND skill and size that Wlad brings.

I just hope Wlad don't screw up his hands again by pounding on Tua's coconut. That'll then mess up any chances of a unification fight in the summer of 08.

But I guess Klit can't sit and wait, when he's not even sure a big oppoonent will be willing to fight him once they do become available. So..........

The winner of Ibragimov-Holyfield should be available in Jan/Feb.
I want Wlad to fight the winner.

Why doesn't he fight the Ibragimov-Holyfield winner as you say, or Valuev? Both should be available about the same time as Klitschko will be, after their up-coming fights. Otherwise he could give a shot to an up-and-comer, like Haye, Virchis, Povetkin, Rodriguez, even Greenberg. No one stands out right now as having earned a shot, but why not just pick on guys who are making moves?

Wlad will kill any version of Tommy Morrison, and I was a fan of Tommy's.

I agree. I'd rather see Wlad fight an up & coming young fighter than a never was like David Tua. He'll get little credit for the win anyway.

The front page article said some BS like "......to get Tua the title shot he deserves...." or something like that. Tua deserves a title shot for fighting nothing but tomato cans in his recent comeback?

I guess I would just like... say.. for the best to fight the best.

If its a stay busy fight then fine, but I would like some unification soon please. :good

I think that is what we will see, a Tua fight is pointless and a joke.

Dont you want a unified champ, or something close?

This is a quick KO IMO and nothing more.

Of course i want a unified champ.

but who is he going to schedule a fight with as of NOW.

    Chagaev... out
    S.I. .... fighting
    Maskaev... fighting

its a stay busy fight.... and quick KO?

    i will bet you anything you want that this wont be a quick KO. A N Y T H I N G

With Wlads jab oriented style nowdays, rarely even opening up with his right hand with power till the 3rd round and then just barely, i garuntee you it wont be a quick KO, especially since he will be wary of Tuas power.

TOS, Brock, and Castillo COULD have all been early ko's, and maybe should have.... but with wlads new style (not throwing early bombs, more of a outbox you and wear you down till he puts the thunder on late) type of style they all went 5 or more.

and i garuntee you so will tua.

I got scared for a second this bs fight was almost made. Briggs would be the best fight for Wlad right now but he is too afraid to fight him because he knows his chin wont hold up.

Exactly ! KO byBRIGGS what's w/the constant one note song and dance with Briggs? You think Wlad is scared of a guy that could hardly throw a handful of puches vs SI? C'mon, you can do better than that. Or are you that high on Sultan? :blood
