I don´t think Tua deserves it and that it´s a weak fight for Wlad. Tua would be pushing his luck to go in with the small amount of preparation and lousy competition he´s had in the last years. However I think it´s better for them to fight than for Wlad to remain inactive. Also, there are just not that many good fights out there for Wlad, so he might as well fight whoever has the guts to challenge him.
Wlad would get so much **** on this site for fighting Briggs.................you have to be kidding. Besides, Briggs doesn't deserve a title shot after that lame preformance vs. Sultan.
agreed Briggs should have an inhaler in his corner, I havnt seen deep breathing like that since the first Wlad/Brewster fight.:tired
:good Tua is not a bad choice, given his chin and power. I don't really see anything too terribly wrong with this matchup. Its not mhy first pick, no, but its a good choice seeing as how the other titleholders are tied up. Next to unification, the fighters I'd then like to see Wlad fight would be Virchis and Tua. When Wlad and Tua go at it, there is gonna be KO shots being thrown around like torpedos.

I think this would be a good fight for WALDO to take, if a unification bout isn't possible right now then taking on a granite chinned guy with a huge left hook (WALDOS nemesis) seems a good option to me. I haven't seen Tua lately though so don't know how far past his peak he is. If he's anything like what he was when he fought Lewis he'll be dangerous though. Tua also seems like one of the good guys of the sport too from what I know about him, so glad he's getting a shot for that reason alone.
Tua has a good chin. And good puncher. Who else is available where they can sell tickets ,market this one and make money. For what its worth ---- Vlad is getting better and better and better. Tua is not.
WALD is getting better and better? Not spotted it myself, he's learnt to hug when he's in trouble (which is frequently) and that's about it. Same as Bruno at the same age, and at about the same level too.
