    Yes, you are correct. You don't know ****. ;)

    The IBF belt has been around since 84-85, and IIRC, Larry Holmes was the first HW to wear the IBF belt.

    The WBC has been around since the 60s, IIRC, and is an off-shoot of the WBA.

    That said, the legitimate HW title is currently vacant.

    Energy= Force * distance

    Power=Energy /time

    So,

    Power= mass * acceleration * distance/time :D

    It's not inconceivable that Wlad, had greater one punch power than Tyson.
    He has long shin bones and move his body through a greater distance, bending them when he executes a punch.

    BTW,I thought Tyson was punching his hardest up to the second Holyfield fight(his timing,speed,balance were pretty off though)

    Lewis, Tyson, Holmes, Holyfield, Bowe fought in an time that was well past 84-85 dumb**** (excluding Holmes of course)

    During Holme's time there were 3 major belts WBA, WBC, and IBF. During the time that the rest you mention, there were 4 major belts. This is the same as there is now (unless you want to call the IBO a major belt :nut)
    By the way your the one that brought belts into it... Still waiting for your consperecy theory on how you claim that he didn't get his belts legitimately.

    Sure, maybe I don't know **** about boxing, but it seem it still is a bit more than you...

    Yes that's very clever.
    Here's the list of heavyweight champions since the retirement of Rocky Marciano: Patterson, Johanssen, Patterson, Liston, Ali, Frazier, Foreman, Ali, L.Spinks, Ali, Holmes, M.Spinks, Tyson, Douglas, Holyfield, Bowe, Holyfield, Moorer, Foreman, Briggs, Lewis, Rahman, Lewis.

    Those are the champions, plenty of others had belts, I myself have several, I also have a set of braces and they hold my trousers up very nicely, they do not make me a champion.

    The titles are not unified therefore Wlad is no more THE champ than Vitali or Valuev.

    His punching power is average, especially for his size.

    Remember that combo Lewis landed on Tua,finishing with the left hook?
    I was amazed he took that without going down....

    That's kinda subjective.

    I mean, Wlad is the Ring champ, and that holds a lot of credibility nowadays. Given that the WBA should be effectively discounted from considerations it would appear that a slight shift in thinking is needed.

    Sure, Wlad could unify by having the IBF, WBO, IBO and then getting the WBC (leaving the WBA out of it) but the WBO and IBO are still kinda fringe no matter how you look at it.

    Because the IBO and WBO are trinkets and not really meaningful, and the WBA can be discounted, does this mean we would accept a champ as being unified if they have the IBF and WBC strap? Or would they need to have at least one of the extra trinket belts? Does having one of the real belts and two of the trinkets mean he has already unified? Well.. I don't think so. But I think the concept of "unified" for the HW division is ready to be discarded.

    Who is the best? That is the champ. How do we know who is the best? Well, currently the ring belt is the most credible of all belts (yeah I know it aint perfect).

    Concepts like unification and lineage are less and less relevant due to the petty politics and greed of corrupt boxing organisations. Sure they are nice ideas if you are into that sort of thing. But I can see a future where the boxing organisations prevent unification of the Heavys from ever happening again. Ever. Not just for a few years, not just for a decade, but for as long as boxing exists.
    So what happens then? No champ ever again? Hardly. It just comes down to forgetting useless traditions when they no longer have merit. For example, including the WBA strap in considerations of lineage or unification is now irrelevant and should be stopped. Who cares that it is traditional?

    For those who would insist on the WBA being included in unification (not that many people do anymore), what happens when one of the traditional "big three" folds? What happens if two of them fold? What if they all go under? Who offcially says "The WBC, IBF and WBA are dead, we will now accept the IBO and WBO to be the belts required to unify"?

    Given that unification may be a pipe dream, I am willing to settle for calling the ring champion the "Champ". If someone has a better way, one that actually takes into account the real status of boxing nowadays, I am happy to listen to it.

    Thanks, i thought it was. I agree with you somewhat that Wlad is no more the champ then Vitali( not Valuev, the WBA cluster**** should have given Chagev the title). But when you compare Holyfield, Moore, and Bowe to the same judging criteria, then they were just beltholders as well.

    And also Emanuel Stweard has gone on record a few times saying he hits harder than Lewis.

    He is one of the heaviest hitters in history for sure.

    All that **** talk but you can't show the error in my logic.

    Maybe you should remove the Klitscho balls from infront of your face so you can see clearly.

    And BTW, nobody really gives a **** about your gay-ass little list, Genius...

    In fairness he's part of Wlad's team.So it's a component of his job to praise his fighter.

    I remember Marciano's old trainer,Charley Goldman, expressed the opinion that his new fighter, Bonavena,hit harder than the Rock.

    The only dumb**** here is the one your moms laid on your birthday.

    Now take this opportunity to LEARN HOW TO READ, you ****ing idiot, and go back and re-READ the post I replied to.

    NOWHERE did I claim that Klitschko didn't get his belt legitimately.

    I said; since when do belts make champions?

    Klitschko may be a belt holder but he's NO champion...
