Wladimir: It is So Difficult To Be This Boring!

As long as he's winning and people are paying to watch him fight then be has absolutely no reason to change his style. He makes a fortune, he barely gets hit and he wins his fights - its completely effective for him.

However, what I disagree with is people telling others that they should watch and enjoy him as much as they do - or worse accusing people of having agendas for not doing so. That's like telling someone they should like the exact same music or films as you do, and then being angered if they don't. People have different tastes, and just because you might not particularly enjoy watching a specific fighter does not mean that you cannot appreciate their talent.

 

They're busy making big money in NFL/NBA.

Why would they want to get punched in the face when they can get signed as 17-18 year olds for financial stability?

Boxing is going to die eventually because there just isnt any money in it for young guns, deal with it.

The real physical talent in the US get basketball/football scolarships, there aint no scholarships for boxing, there is just no money in it for young people.

Boxing is losing popularity here in Europe aswell, sure you have some names who will sell out arenas in Germany,England and Ukraine. But that is because of household names and the still living fanbase. The younger generations don't even watch boxing over here, and I suspect the same can be said generally for americans.

I've been a huge boxing fan for decades, but I'm not naive enough to think this sport will be mainstream the way it once was.

 

How come Ruiz to so much heat for fighting the same jab and grab style Wlad does. Wlad brags about having one sided fight against complete bums. Lets see him fight Fury's and the Wilder's of the world and see what happens. Even Price or Helenius. Just some guys that will hit him back. I know Price has been exposed but I would still like to see him fight WLad. If Price were to land on WLads egg chin it would be over.

boxig never was mainstream. (maybe when Ali was around or with Tyson in the USA ). Soccer, BAsketball, Football are mainstream but boxing never was. Boxing never was a world wide mainstream sport.
The purse bid for Povetkin-Wladimir Klitschkos was 23 million dollar (highest purse bid ever). today there is even more money to earn for the top dogs in this sport than in the past. MAyweather is the best paid boxer ever. Wladimir Klitschkos makes millions just like Pacquiao and many others.
You also said boxing is not growing in germany. also not true. Boxing is a young sport in germany (got popular in the 90es) and there are now many great amateurs coming up and amateurs in germany earn more money than ever. so the german promoters will have many great fighters in the future.

But professional sport relies on the fans enthusiasm. you will need to keep processing Klit tards to get excited for your fights because they're the only ones who care when a wladimir klitschko fight is on

The fact is, NBA/NFL/MLB get all the young talent in the US, PERIOD.

 

It is true, Wladimir does not earn anywhere close to Kobe Bryant, Lebron James etc.

 

And why do they have so many great american boxers right now?
