that was supremely worded by Wlad.

i agree kinda but when there's very little danger of taking the people out that he's been facing then he should go for it more and put these no hopers away quicker like he's easily able to.

you're crazy, the whole world paused for ali vs foreman, louis vs schmelling 2, Dempsey vs Tunney......

boxing was more popular than all those sports at one time and certainly was mainstream for a long ass time. guessing you were born post 1990?

I think it is less about them and more about their competition.

They are great athletes. The guys they fight? Not so much. It is hard to get "up" for their fights due to this. Even harder to watch the one sided affairs.

That being said, they were active when HW was more exciting. They were stopped.

I think there are several reasons why he takes his time. I think he wants to give fans their money worth by taking it into the middle rounds. Also, I think he doesn't want a short night in the interest of staying active and fighting off rust which is likely to get worse as he ages--he also doesn't know how long he might have to go without fighting again: he could get stuck in negotiations with someone from the Haye & Booth School of Business and not fight for a year.

Finally, Manny taught him the war of attrition style, and while Manny towards the end was allover Wlad in the corner to get him to finish things sooner, his pupil was only doing what he'd been taught after being reprogrammed into a more intelligent fighter post-Brewster. It works, and it almost always ends in some form of knockout.

well good for him. He has the right mindeset. I wish he would be more aggressive, but his first priority should be to get the victory

I dare any Void fan to complain about Vlad clinching. Void holds all the time. Vlad gets knockouts, Hell, Void could not knock out a featherweight. Let Void get into the ring with Vlad and lets see Void get knocked out cold. Vlad is the best fighter in the world, so is Vitali, Void would lose to both......................

do you want to see great boxers or do you want to see beer and popcorn gatti fights?

floyd doesn't have pop, but he has skills and he's smart enough to know how to utilize them

like i said yesterday, just like georges st pierre in the UFC....

both very smart fighters, neither are KO artists, yet both dominate their sport

Wlad is awesome. I hope he continues to 'bore' us for many more years, he's doing everything right.

Vlad has skill, but Klitschko haters want Vitali and Vlad to put their hands down and stick out their chins..........................Skill is OK for Void but not OK for Klitschkos? How biased can you get. Klitschkos almost always get knockouts as well.............

Why doesn't Wladimir fight Haye when all his toes are healthy?

He's **** scared of The Hayemaker that's why.

I hope you were joking.............watch Vlad Vs. Haye fight, Haye was a coward. Haye had broken a signed contract with Vlad and Haye has broken an implied contract with Vitali..................

Wlad's stance is going to pre-Steward times.

    Hands up!

Wladimir's horribly boring and tedious to watch, but he's been trying to fight more aggressively of late, so good on him for that.

Wish he would stop with the ****ing clinching, though. And throw some uppercuts dammit!
