Interesting post. The mental aspect (not the pop psychology a lot of people on here are indulging in) is essential here. Will Wlad have the confidence to start putting the right hand out there if his jab isn't landing? Will he try a left hook (actually the shot he'd have most success with against Haye) as Haye's coming in? A lot of posters are, as they did with Audley, imagining a fighter that Wlad just isn't. He's not a sharp-shooter, he's not a banger (even though he can bang), and he really doesn't like when an opponent is moving around him. He's a good, solid straight-up fighter with solid fundamentals. He will not run the risk of Haye firing off and try to punch with him. Haye will simply get there first and Wlad will get hurt. No, his plan will be to step out when Haye throws to make him fall short, and then step in with a jab or a hook. But Haye's not going to do that, I think - he'll make Wlad lead and counter with three-punch combinations. I wouldn't be surprised if they make a big thing about Wlad's holding pre-fight and the Ukranian gets warnings for it. I wouldn't be surprised if Haye bobs and weaves in the early going to get to Wlad's ribs. I bet they are looking to break the bigger man down slowly.

What's Sky's highest ever Box Office number? I think this fight has the potential to beat it. On at a reasonable time / Haye transcends the sport a bit / It's the HW championship of the world / lots of publicity / People have heard of those Klipshows.

I don't think it will beat that but ya never know I suppose. Oh and whoever said 'The best pickers picked DeGale' as if Groves actually won that fight convincingly, keep smoking the crack...there was nothing at all conclusive about that fight that suggested people really got it wrong to take DeGale. The judges gave it him, thats about it.
