name a big HW who was a good inside fighter you cocksucker.
Lewis hugged the **** out of Tyson's corpse, somehow i don't imagine your toothless chav ass criticizing him for that.

If Bowe was good on the inside that doesn't mean that all big HW could or should be good on inside fighting, you useless sack of inbreed ****.

You've totally missed the point, you halfwit. :patsch:patsch:patsch

The point was that in terms of infighting Bowe and WALDO were worlds apart. He has no inside game other than to clinch, and actively look to clinch. Lewis held, but had a better inside game. Hell, even Golota knew how to work inside. But hey, providing an honest assessment of Klitschko or even finding fault simply cannot be tolerated And those who do must be labelled Brittards by people who in reality should have be drowned at birth.

I doubt anyone argues here that Wlad has poor infighting skills.
Problem is that what opponents like JMM yesterday do - lower head and charge in.
    Gifs above show that nicely.

What exactly was Mormeck's gameplan to win this fight? This is all he did for 3 rounds. Does anybody have the punch stats? he prob only threw a few punches the whole fight.

But Wladimir could have stopped him so much quicker if he'd just taken a step back, pushed him away or used a quick, swift uppercut. People are a little confused as to why a 245lb man with Wlads attributes feels the need clinch a 36yr old 215lb man who was so painfully slow and inept because he was one out of his prime and two a blown up cruiserweight. We all know Wlad is safety first and he has been able to utilize he attributes to become a formidable almost unbeatable fighter but under the circumstances last night the clinching really was not necerssary and the referee should have been quicker to tell both fighters to punch out of the clinch or penalise Wladimir for holding. Mormeck did not help the situation by trying to weave himself to the inside and then proceeding to do sweet **** all but most of the blame lies with Wladimir, Lennox used to clinch and spoil on the inside but he does not hold a candle to Wladimir and only really done it when he needed to.

I can agree with some of this, it depended on how fast Mormeck did his human torpedo, sometimes Wlad could have sidestepped or stepback and popped him but he didn't let Mormeck get anything off but at the same time Mormeck wasn't even punching coming in, he just threw his head into Wlad's chest. The biggest prob of course is that this fight even took place.

Barring the 3rd and 4th gif (reading from left to right) every single clinch was avoidable in my humble opinion.

The 1st GIF Mormeck boars in trying to avoid getting tagged, instead of Wladimir either pushing him away or taking a step back he proceeds to hammer down a forearm on Mormecks neck, push his head down and then bring him in closer for a clinch. So avoidable and frankly silly.

The 2nd GIF is just outright confusing, what exactly is Wladimir doing in that clip, he has a massive window to let go with a spiteful right hand yet doesnt and pushes him away, just no excuse for that kind of negative behaviour.

The 3rd GIF it looks as if Wlad is actually going to finally punish Mormeck, but instead of letting a combination go on the clearly out of his depth opponent he pulls him in to push down on him again.

Wladimir has a way of fighting that makes him very difficult to tag cleanly if at all but soem aspects of his game are downright fustrating to the neutral spectator, i mean my mother who happened to be in the room at the time of watching the fight ( hates boxing and is no expert by any means) lamented Wladimirs clinching and criticised his lack of promptness to dispatch of Mormeck.

As opposed to HOF dead certs like Mormeck, Chagaev, Chambers..? Wlad has success because he's tall and athletic with a long reach. He shits himself any time anyone looks likely to land on him. He has to tie up because he has zero infighting ability.

This thread should be deleted cause whats the point on bashing a fighter for holding while his favorite fighter (khan) runs and holds? This idiot lazarus shouldnt talk **** about any fighters holding like a b4tch since his favorite fighter mostly fights like a b4tch anyway.

holding is a grey area, since most of the time its hard to find out who initiated the holding in the first place...
