BS Chagaev stood there and let WLad hit him all night. Wlad could not keep Povetkin at the end of his jab. Povetkin knew WLad has no inside game at all so that is why he charged in. You Wlad fans trying to defend his illegal clinching ,grabbing and pushing his weight on peoples back are sick in the head. The ref should have DQ'd Wlad in that fight. WLad fought like a coward. HE did do **** against Haye either as they were both scared to get hit. Leapai is trash and WLad is wasting time fighting this bum who beat a bum in Boystov. Only his true nuthuggers want to see it that is why he wants to have it in Germany. But Leapai does not want to fight in Germany so I hope K2 loses the bid.

The WBO is a second rate belt and Wlad should just drop it. But he wont because he likes the easy money by ripping german fans off.

Even EPIX would be a fool to show this garbage. Just when you think Wlad can't get any lower he does.

I'm sure Chagaev would have punched Wlad if he could have. I think he did land some punches. One of his best was after the bell rang.

If someone's whole strategy is to charge Wlad and try to land something on the way, they can probably succeed for a while. Peter 2 and Mormeck were like the Povetkin fight because they both tried the same strategy.

Pianeta, Wach, Thompson 1 and 2, Brewster 2, Haye, Iggy, Bryd, Brock, Peter 1, Chambers, Rahman, Austin were not like the Povetkin fight because those boxers didn't charge Wlad as often as they could over and over again.

Wlad does not fight on the inside because he fights MUCH better on the outside. He's simply playing to his strengths and if the ref allows it why wouldn't he?

He charged in over and over because he knew he would lose an outside fight big.

He fought smart and won a huge points victory. Granted it isn't that pleasing to watch. Reminded me of Hopkins doing the same thing with Calzaghe.

They both hit very hard and they don't have the best chins. Since Haye was losing the fight he should have taken more risks in order to win.

I would have much preferred Boytsov won or Boytsov fighting someone good and letting that guy be the WBO mandatory.

I think Boytsov would have been okay if he was serious about boxing and not partying too much.

Well I'll watch it and hope Leapai doesn't fight like Mormeck or Povetkin. Hmmm, Leapai is only 6 feet tall so it's possible he might. I notice it's short guys like Povetkin, Peter and Mormeck who fight this way.

Having the fight in Russia sure helped Povetkin.

I highly doubt whoever promotes Leapia is going to outbid K2.

How can he knock 'm out before the 6th when he first wants to feel 'm out during the first five?

BTW, I've read that Leapai injured himself during his last fight and he may not be ready to fight until April or May. Anyone know if this is true?

If Leapai needs to delay the fight even a few weeks, Wladimir should go for Pulev on March 8 and fight Leapai in the summer.

Leapai needs to delay the fight by a few months and Wlad is happy to sit around and wait for him even though he prefers to stay active. He would get panned if he were to take a bum fight like Pianeta while he waits for another bum fight so he's going to wait it out instead of facing Pulev.
This is why no date has been set.
Somebody just give him his WBC belt so he can retire already.
