Haye cleaned out the Cruiserweight division by beating the old Mormeck and the hyped up Enzo? How about the IBF Champ at the time Cunningham? Bell? Guillermo Jones? Jonathan Banks? Adamek who had moved into the division and now owns it?

I didn't want to include Thompson in on my sarcasm, after he showed the heart of William Wallace to put up with the 12 rounds of jabbing and hugging just so he could receive the applause of 16,000 krauts. Thompson deserves better than sarcasm, he's a great fighter. Apparently :huh

Oops hang on wasn't it 11 rounds with Thompson? Whatever it was I'm sure the joyful and sporting crowd more than made up for the disappointment in losing.

I translate that to... "Oh ****, this guy knows what he is talking about. Clearly Haye didn't clean out the division. I better throw out a diversion".

Mormeck may have been old but he was the man at the time and he beat him in Paris.
Bell wasn't young either and was beaten by Mormeck.
Banks is hyped just like Enzo was
Adamek has recently moved up after his loss to Chad Dawson and Haye had already had his fight with Mormeck planned. He owns the division because Haye moved up and allowed him to fight Cunningham and take the IBF belt which is by no means owning the division thinking about it

bell already beaten by mormeck so why would he fight him, jonathon banks a nobody, adamek is that meant as a joke at this point he was not on anyones radar, jones who didn't fight for well over a year not really putting himslef in the picture for any major fights. The only guy that would have made any real difference to hayes record is cunnigham, if haye had not intended to move to heavyweight for a long time this fight should have been made, with cunninghams weak chin he could have had him out as quick as enzo mac.

In other words.... Haye didn't clean out the division. A division that is as thin as it gets anyways.
