Wladimir Klitschko vs. David Haye

The only way I could see Haye winning is him landing something big on Wlad glass jaw, but its alot easier said than done. He needs to take a note out of Corrie Sanders book to even think about winning, being aggressive is his only chance.

I think Wlad more in likely will have a field day with Hayes weak defense, and will expose his weak chin for all to see. Wlad by KO 3rd.

Lets be serious if haye hit wlad flush on the chin with the shot he hit mormeck with wlad would be put on his ass, he might get up and beat haye but it's not like wlad has a chin like mccall or tua.

 

I don't see Haye getting past Wlad's jab to land a power shot. Wlad will land first and Haye will be out of there.

 

see here is the problem with Wald haters. im not saying u are one, but this is their whole argument. Its no secret Wlad doenst have a great chin, it's probably in the C range, but he has become so hard to hit now. Not only do you have to deal with his height and his jab. Now he employs a lot of foot movement, grapling, and a stalking style. Now if someone can get around that, then they have a shot.

Sam Peter had the perfect style to trouble wlad. no boxing. just all out pressure w/huge power shots. u need power, a swarming style, a great chin, and a lot of heart. Haye has power and heart but not the other 2. not gonna happen.

 

Exactly, if Haye had a good chin I might lean in Hayes favor. Wlad is extremely tough to hit unless you pressure him, his jab keeps you at bay to the point where you can hardly get in a shot early on. Wlad dictates the fight with his jab through the first 5 or 6 rounds, and then starts using his right hand more exclusively after that.

I feel your going to have to be almost the complete package to beat Wlad pretty much, or at least have a good punch and a strong chin, and be willing to pressure Wlad early on.

 

I think it is more than likely wlad would beat haye but i think we should see what his chin is like at heavyweight before we call it bad, alot of fighters when weight drained have a poor chin and then when they move upto the right weight these problems go away. However to the people doubting haye could ko wlad, it isn't that likely but haye has amzaing power and if he caught wlad with some bombs i think he could finish him, the big problem for haye is could he land the bombs without getting koed by wlad who is a talented boxer with excellent reach and power.

 

Klitschko has a murder punch.

His accuracy is tremendous.

His reach is very high.

Haye is sometimes completely open for right hands.

Hayes chin is only mediocre.

Haye would look quite small next to Klitschko.

The first time Klitschko connects with his right, and I am sure he will, the fight is over.

see here is the problem in a nutshell. Haye is unlikely to land his bombs and Wlad WILL land his. Since both have poor chins, what is the logical result? Look, nobody is unbeatable and haye could catch wlad but the chances of it happening are very low.

haye is a great prospect with many correctable problems. if he takes it slow and works on his craft, he could be a very good hw but wlad is on a different level right now.

 

Wlad KILLS him. Haye has the power to stop Wlad, but he wouldn't get the chance. He holds his left hand by his knee as if he is RJJ and on top of that Wlad would have the reach advantage. Haye was getting tagged by Mormeck because of his stupid refusal to just pick his ****ing hand up and have a guard.

Wlad would probably KO him in the first round.

 

Wlad. Height and reach advantage, plus tighter defense and better footwork. Haye hits hard for a cruiser, Wladimir hits hard for a heavy. If Mock and Mormeck, both guys who have fought the majority of their career below cruiserweight, can put him down then Wlad can knock him out.
