Rocky would be seeing stars after the first 1-2 lands. And they will land straight, they will land clean and they will land aplenty. Noone on Rock's ledger punched as hard and as fast as Wlad. And the ones that a few members will pretend to have done were no 245 pounds of lean, possibly chemically enhanced, muscle by any stretch of the imagination. Although it seems the Ruiz upset has sparked the imaginations of quite a lot of folks.

There are limits to what a human body can take. 195lb Jersey Joe Walcott's greatest accomplishment and claim to the title is knocking out a light heavyweight who was dropped abound at middleweight, light heavyweight, heavyweight, indeed, any kind of weight Charles could fit in, really. If that doesn't suit you he managed to drop a greying Louis a bunch of times. Incredible feats replicated earlier in Louis' career by the similarly incredible Buddy Baer and the simply irresistible Tony Galento. If a 38 year old Walcott could put the Rock down on the seat of his pants with a single left hook, Wlad will undo the seam of Rocky's pants with his own left.

Did a lightheavyweight ever drop Waldo?

Did Marciano ever eat the sort of shots an ancient Waldo took from Joshua and stay upright?

to be fair, and we should strive to be, hes another man completely.

i do sometimes muse over what kind of fighter you'd get if you spliced wlad and vitali genetically.

Marciano was floored and buzzed by a 38/40 years old 188lbs guy, true or false? Chris Byrd was 211lbs and 6'2" ,[same size as Max Baer ,] when he beat Vitali on an arm injury stoppage.Byrd had a total of 3 fights out of 47 ,at lhvy. try and be serious here pal.

Any thread with Klitscko "vs legend" has to surpass 100 pages. It's mandatory.

That 38-40 year old guy beat more ranked HW guys then Byrd did (haven’t looked at the numbers but pretty sure) and if Byrd was 6”2 I’m seven feet tall let’s be serious here. Anyone can gain fat/muscle you people seem to think it’s a skill.

the more fat you have the more accurate your punch, the fat acts like a guided missile targeting the chin of your opponent.

    enough. fat. in the head.

Actually they are about the same.
    Moore had Valdes x 2, Dunlap x2,Lavorante,Henry,Baker.
    Byrd has Cooper,Oquendo,Holyfield,Tua,V Klitschko,McCline.
You seven footers need to get serious.

    Depends which Rocky it is.

ESB Rocky is dominated, loses every round, face cut open, dies from blood loss, revives himself, and KO's Wladimir in the 15th with quite literally the best come from behind victory of all time with a second left to spare.

Real life Rocky, would be lucky to see the 3rd.

    Rocky is my man but.

Wlad controls the distance with his jab on the backfoot being careful. He clinches jabs and grabs. Marciano keeps on getting caught by wlads superior jab. At times marciano is able to land big shots at close range hurting wlad a bit. However wlad ends up holding and clinching stoping the attack . marciano unable to find a way to continue to land his big shots frustrated. Wladimir super cautious..

    Similar to the povetkin fight.

Wlad wins on points using his jab

I don't see Wlad having any fear of what Marciano ships his way. This would be target practice and the absolute physical domination of a superior athlete and technician over an inferior. A brutal showcase that is stopped by even the most masochistic ref before the 5th round begins.

And then everyone blames Wlad for taking on such a patsy.
