Wlad will have little to no fear of Ibragimov, and once he has Ibrag stunned, Wlad will be all over him like a cheap suit. Just as he was when Byrd was hurt.......

But its a matter if Wlad can chase Ibragimov down, cause I expect to see Ibragimov run like a deer, and only occassionally, quickly slip in close enough to try and counter.

The only fighter who ever used speed effectively was Corrie Sanders who is 6'4 and had the footspeed to go along with the handspeed and one - punch KO power. Iggy is way too small to blitz Wlad like Sanders did and doesn't move fast on his feet. Even if he hits Wlad, it's not like Wlad falls from the first shot he takes. He got up from every knockdown in his career.

I have wondered that myself, the last couple fights Wlad had, were against guys who let Wlad settle in and end up turning them into a punching bag. I hope Iggy uses his brain and doesnt try to box the bigger, more skilled fighter in Wlad. I think Iggy's best chance of winning is going for the gusto right out the gate, Wlads chin is extremely weak and his defense is still below average, if he lands big on Wlad, he will either go down or go into one of his famous panic attacks, where he expends most of his energy, it's worth a shot, what the hell does a fighter like Iggy got to lose?:yep

How do you see him winning rounds off of Wladimir?

This could be the most lopsided poll in ESB history.

Ibragimov *could* win but it's highly unlikely. He'd have to go right out there and attack Waldo. Make the big man punch and punch and fight a nervous pace, all while smashing him with straight lefts.

Will he do it? Naw, probably not. He's been more and more punchshy since being dropped by Austin. I don't see his confidence being that great against Waldo's power tbh.

He'll likely run like someone else said, and try to minimize contact, just picking his battles carefully. Even with that I expect him to get caught coming in somewhere along the line and stopped, with the exact same right hand Austin dropped him with.

The only way I see Ibragimov having a chance on this is if he did improve his power.

    Highly unlikely, wouldn't you say?

not quite as lop-sided as this one, in reference to your "corrie sanders had a normal level of activity for a fighter leading to the quitali fight".
