Wladimir's climb back to the top was because of the era he was in. Think about this.

Say Purrity-Sanders-Brewster happened in the early or mid 90's.. his climb back to the top would have been filled with big massive punchers like Ruddock-Bruno-Tua-Morrison--- he would have needed to beat those guys just to get a shot at the Tier 1 B's like Bowe and Tyson or the Tier 1 A'S like Lewis-Holyfield.

Now can CURRENT WLAD with his style beat Bruno-Ruddock-Tua-Morrison? Most likely. Yes... But do you honestly think the Wlad who just lost to Sanders would have made it out against Tua in his next 2-3 fights?
