and I give you respect for it.... thats how it should be... stick with your guy, team etc in good time and bad.:good
I think it's more a case of intelligence. How would it help Povetkin's career to be knocked out by Vlad? Like David Haye, Povetkin realizes the money is not worth it. Better to avoid Vlad and go for a different title, particularly since Vitali will retire soon. It makes no sense for Povetkin to fight Vlad. That might wreck Povetkin's entire future. What amazes me the most are these idiots who claim Vlad ducks tough fights. It's perfectly clear that leading heavyweights are running from Vlad.
With Peter, it's pretty easy to tell just by his weight. He's dropped about 30 lbs since he came in at a walrus-like 265 for Chambers. I can't say I'm thrilled about it if he winds up being the choice, but he has gotten himself down to a much more respectable size and deserves credit on that front. I thought he was completely through after the Vitali and Chambers fights, so he also gets props from me for doing his part to resurrect things since that low point in his career.
Against Peter, Wlad should fire the left hook earlier and a bit more frequently this time around. That, we can expect. I wonder how Povetkin's team will spin it from a PR standpoint if Peter has to fight in his place. Gonna be a tough sell.
Interesting.....I'll be happy if it is Peter, but I will also miss seeing the look on Teddy's face when Wlad KO's his fighter. I've really been looking forward to that.
Yeah i want to see Teddy blast his own fighter again after losing.. Claiming if they win it was all him but if they lose.. the bum would not listen to me
A high probability factor, with Vitali vs Valuev affected in the same way... The Kremlin residents are still subject to the Cold War paranoiaatsch
