Yeah a tiny dig, but haye would have been in his element with this if it was the other way round, so like i said pure class from the heavyweight champ
oh Haye would be all over Wlad, no doubt! I`m just saying Wlad did have a pop at Haye, so cut the 'what a classy man, did not say anything against Haye' stuff!
Oh for ****s sake, considering this was his most important fight maybe ever, and he is ready to go and prove a lot of people wrong, id say yeah his statement was nothing but class, im sure hes seathing with rage inside about this
"I'm pretty frustrated right now. I've been waiting for this David Haye fight for half a year," Klitschko told Setanta Sports News. "But now I have no David Haye on June 20, so we'll keep the date and I wish a fast recovery to him."So now I have no opponent and will look for somebody else. I wish David Haye a fast recovery." http://edition.cnn.com/2009/SPORT/06/03/boxing.world.heavyweight/ That's pretty dam classy.
Very classy guy, a truly decent and upstanding individual, and no, I doubt Haye would have had the same class. Stuff like this reminds me of how much I like Wlad as a person, and wondering at what point I became a hater of such a good guy, and I'm sure that other resident Klit haters must wonder the same thing sometimes. There is nothing to dislike about Wlad himself. Yes he has had some embarrasing losses, but he does not blow his own trumpet and proclaim himself to be great. And he can be very boring, but that is not a reason to hate him personally. He has his faults as a fighter, but that is about it. Needless to say, hate for the Klitschkos and particularly Wlad, stems from their ridiculous hardcore fans who proclaim them to be far greater than they are. Its a shame, but it breeds hate for fighters. And as good a guy that Wlad is, this is a very cruel sport and I think its better that he gets beat by Haye.
Classy... I'm really curious what Haye will have to say for the rest of the (post-poned) build-up... going trash from here will simply make him look like a fool. Very smart and elegant comment from Wlad.
Wlad loses this fight every week and twice on Sundays. but very, very good response. EXCEPT... Haye said: "To get this right I had to act like a bit of a tit." Haye's a smart, self aware guy. He ain't a nasty bloke. I would argue that anyone who thinks otherwise doesn't know Haye well enough. I am GUTTED about this.
I'm ****ing gutted about theis, I was really looking forward to the fight. It's just one of those things though. Props to Klitschko, he is indeed a classy guy. A good sportsman.
wlad said he would NOT throw garbage at him when he was down,# Stating what haye would do is not a "pop" its the truth Hayes calling wlad a coward for the last year already.
Fair enough and well said. But, whether you're a Haye, Klitschko, Cotto, Pacquaio fan, there are sensible and idiot fan's on all sides. And some fans are worse than others. As Klitschko fan, there are some Klitschko fan's who state absurd ****-I agree-but you just got to take it with grain of salt, and know they are clueless about boxing.
I'm not a fan of Wlad inside the ring but outside the ring he's all class. I thought given how much Haye has been winding him up, he might break from tradition and aim a few choice words in his direction - I guess not. I hope this fight still happens late this year or early next year.
And eventually getting KO by some of this ranked heavyweights that he never fought before getting his good paycheck
Fair post chief, I know you're far from the only one put more off from his fans from him personally. Just remember that if you focus too much on the worst of a fighters fans, nobody looks good. I think the same situation happens with Pacqiao- quiet, classy guy, nothing wrong with him- people just hate how much his fans love him lol.
Wlad has always been nothing but total class in and out of the ring. Six months training, countless $$$ and fans of both likely our of money and time as well.
