People that say Haye is just promotng the fight try to make us forget that he has been telling the truth all the time.

Correct me if I am wrong though, but Haye's paycheck become bigger thanks to PPV the more he promotes the fight, correct? For some reason he appears disinterested in promoting the fight with Wlad already.

Hopefully Haye is not distracted with personal problems or - even worse - has become completely disinterested in the fight.

It's fun to put all of Haye's sullen, pouty and sulky behaviour down to him just realising how badly Wlad is going to hurt him.

I'm sure that the realisation that Wlad is better than him at everything does kind of hurt. Knowing that Wlad is bigger, stronger, smarter, more skilled, a better person and more charismatic - basically knowing that Wlad is the alpha and Haye is not - would get to him a bit.

But it looks different to that. Honestly it looks mostly like personal problems. I think he has just realised that as soon as he cashes in his last boxing paycheck that he is getting divorced, and huge chunks of his money will be taken from him.

Surely everyone can see that this is just plain justice - you reap what you sow - and cheating on your wife isn't going to reap you anything nice. But that kind of knowledge could really be ****ing with him.

He is a boxer, and he has been beaten before. He knows that Wlad is going to thrash him. He can probably handle that. But knowing that his dick has cost him his millions on top of the certainty that he will get the **** stomped out of him?

Yeah, that explains his moody little sulks.

I don't think either fighter is intimidated. I think what the problem is with haye is that he doesn't want to get comfortable with wladimir. I think haye feels that he needs to want to hate wladimir when the fight comes so he's got that fighters mentality, but the problem is wladimir is acting too nice, too cooly, and it's putting haye off. Haye doesn't want to like the guy, the problem is wladimir is a very likeable guy.

That's a good point. Haye was always saying he was careful not to sign his soul away with greedy promoters, making sure he keeps most of his earnings for himself.

I am not sure if him and his wife have a prenup signed; possibly not. And even with one in place, it will have to stand up in court.

If things go badly for Haye then he will lose 50% of all his assets plus won't see his kids much which must be a terrible realization for him.

A question to any who may know, does Haye still have a promotional obligation to Sauerland? My recall is that it was for three fights. If that's so how much will the cut be?

I was just thinking that. One of the reasons (which Haye has admitted) he doesn't want to be friendly, and spend time around Wladamir, is precisely because he is a nice guy and takes your edge by being pleasant, therefore making you more passive in the ring. I can see that. The Borat impressions were a perfect example of that. Haye was generally cracking up.
