Ya gotta hand it to Claressa Shields for beating the big Russian to win the Gold Medal for her country. The pro game is different but if there is anybody I would love to see lead a womens revival in boxing it would be her.
    God Bless You Claressa Shields

Christina Hammer is more attractive and is a way better boxer and more athletic. She's also more known in Germany than Claressa is in the USA. Why shouldn't she lead the women boxing? Shields brawls face first, Christina fights behind her jab and is bigger with reach advantage. Hopefully they fight soon so that Shields gets exposed.

I saw Christina Hammer fighting in my country on Jan Zaveck undercards. She's legit. It's rare to see such a big female fighter who is at least somewhat athletic and technical.

Thanks for sharing the knowledge. The only womens boxing match I ever saw live on televison was Shields beating the big Russian for the gold medal.
Seems to be doing good in the MMA octagon. All for womens boxing.

No, it's just not that interesting. There aren't enough talented women boxing for people to even care. Then when you did have someone who had a little talent, and a name Like Laila Ali, she cherry picked, and ducked Ann Wolfe. So who gives a **** really. Shields can be a pound for pound talent in women's boxing, but she will be beating on mostly cans, due to the low number of females boxers with talent.

You've never seen a super tough female boxer? Lol. I've seen balls on the ladies as big as any I've ever seen on anyone in a man's contest. There are some huge mismatches made in both MMA and boxing and the one's get who the **** end of the stick in those matches sometimes go down valiantly, guns blazing.

Shields, Taylor, Adams etc will bring female boxing to a new level.

These are real boxers brought through an extensive amateur system.
Its come on a massive amount in just the past decade

Amateur system doesn't necessarily mean **** in pro boxing. Let's face it those women boxers you listed just got a lot of hype because of olympic gold medals and they have yet to justify it. The 3 female fighters you mention have had exactly 7 pro fights together and you talk as if they have already conquered women boxing. They are not the best female boxers out there so it's a bit silly to already call them "next level". It's a bit disrespectful to current female pro boxing champions. Let's see if they can even beat the best women boxers in their divisions first. Like I said, I'm sure that Christina Hammer would beat Claressa right now in a 10 round pro fight, so how exactly is Claressa "next level"?

We all know from male boxing that a 10 round pro fight is a whole different story to amateur fights.

The point is simple, and you seem to be missing it.
Female fighters before were largely girls who started doing some boxercise in their 20s and liked it and started boxing.
The fighters coming through now have come through rigourous amateur systems, in high performance units.
Taylor has been sparring with the like of Paddy Barnes and Michael Conlon for the past decade. Shes essentially been a full time boxer since she was 16.

The level of boxer/athlete now is completely different to what was around a decade ago, because back then there was no womens amateur boxing to speak of.

Now, since womens boxing is in the Olympics, theres been massive investment in training younger girls coming through.

Woman boxing will never take of. It just does not have enough quality competitor. The fights are horribly one sided.

They are going to try an ram this ugly ***** down our throats lie they did Ronda Rousey but it won't work. Most boxing fans do not even like women's boxing while MMA fans were far more welcoming to women's MMA or vulnerable to marketing, depends how you view it.
