    Me too. Though with dodgy camera angles and not great sound it's hard to judge. Wonder if it's a coincidence the American boxes in the world series...

    GB only has 3 in the olympics, the bbc have counted conlan who fights for ireland as british for some reason

    Aye, it was a bit scrappy but you could make a case for Yafai.

    Luke Campbell, Thomas Stalker, Anthony Joshua and Fred Evans.

    It says Conlon is through also but specifies that he is fighting for Ireland.

    Campbell, Stalker, Evans and Joshua have made it havent they? Yafai should have won that last one by a decent margin, his right hand windmill cudnt miss.

    Joshua's not through yet, you need to make the semis at SHW. However, if he loses to Cammarelle and the Italian wins it then Joshua goes through as well.

    Oh yeah, someone mentioned that the other day actually that HWs and SHs have to get to the semis to qualify. Forgot about that. Cheers.

    So are the Northern irish lads part of the Ireland team for the vast majority of the time, then skip in with GB when the Olympics come around?

    And judging by the cornermen's gear, the English, Scottish and Welsh boxers are all effectively in the same team, but just represent their individual countries in most competitions?

    nope they with ireland - football is the only sport in Ireland thats North / South divided

    Ah right, thanks. I just thought that as the Olympic team is called 'Great Britain and Northern Ireland' that the Northern Irish boxers would have to temporarily switch squads.
