    He's likely just heard his name mentioned and seen the reverance its held in, so thought it must be right to put him in

    I aint seen much Greb Pep Benny Leonard or Armstrong, but ive read enough Classic Section posts to know these guys are amongst the greatest of all time

    Fully agree , if Marcianos O is meanigless because of the opposition so is Joe Louis 25 defences,

    Louis was a great fighter but his importance to black history elevates his position ( as it does for Ali too , but Ali was fortunate to be fighting at the best time for HWs )

    However I've never trusted P4P or ATG lists as there are so many variables it makes true comparison impossible. All a fighter can ever be is the best of his era and his size.
