They all need to be retrained at the same time and actually admonished when they do something bad or fishy. Too many lifers despite the awful calls they make. Same goes for judges.
If he hasn't already been mentioned, Richard Gonzalez was pretty clueless on the AJ-Ngannou fight. He lets Ngannou stand there with his hands down just waiting for AJ to kayo him, unobstructed, with the full weight of his body.... And who's that ref who (instead of a standing 8 or whatever) makes fighters take two steps to the left, then two steps to the right? In one recent fight he made a fighter do this multiple times; it got farcical.
"Solid" group, can't place 2 of them and don't think Cortez was that bad. I particularly loathed Steele. He was way too active, jumping around the fighters like he was one of the fighters. Too involved and broke up fighters quickly. He acted like fans tuned in to watch him
Whoever was the ref for Benny Parret and Emile Griffith. Parret was literally defenseless, unconscious and hung up on the ropes. Griffith railed off countless power shots before the ref decided to step in. Poor ol Parret slumped to the canvas and died in the ring.
Luis Pabon pretends a body shot is a low blow and lets Usyk recover rather than counting to ten. He should never ref again.

All his emotions are true and natural , nothing was staged and prepared . The same is true for the dubois fight and the referee !
