The fact that so many are picking Wlad shows the lack of boxing knowledge here on ESB. Wlad has never been KO'd, he's only been TKO'd twice with the other loss coming from his corner throwing in the towel early in his career.
maybe not out cold but when Brewster won the first time around he was knocked senseless and too me thats no different than out.
Kirk Johnson and Lance Whitaker were two of 'em - neither guy was exactly known as a big puncher, and Whitaker in particular was as limited as they come. Doesn't bode well for what's gonna happen when he gets in the ring with Peter. :-(
One interesting thing about Maskaev is how inconsistent his chin has been. For some reason, it's excellent against Rahman, who is arguably a harder puncher than Sanders, Johnson, and Whitaker. He also took some good shots from Tua before being KO'd. I do rate Oleg's chin as the weakest of the belt-holders, but for some reason, he can occasionally take a decent punch, too. I always thought that was weird.
On this list, I'd rank it, from weakest to strongest: 1) Maskaev 2) Sultan (never been KO'd, but dropped by weaker punchers) 3) Wlad 4) Chagaev (I'd like to see him face more big punchers, but I give him the benefit of the doubt for not getting dropped by Virchis.)
