Yeah Tubbs was a blob at 244. He was still slick though so Witherspoon couldnt hurt him. Tim was all around solid but not nimble on his feet and could be a bit ponderous.

It was boring but the skill level was high.

Just so many stretches of a minute or more where neither man attempted a punch.

Holmes Spinks II. Spinks looked pretty ridiculous through most of the fight (pretty much how he looked through much of the first). His oddball strategy worked again to keep Holmes semi-mystified, but Holmes is the only person who seemed there to really fight.

Watching Holmes try to get Spinks to do something besides dance, look goofy, or just plain act like a clown got pretty tiresome. Holmes hurt Spinks bad at least four times in the fight, in the 14th he nearly finished him. And he still lost.

A really lame fight, all because of Spinks. I was so happy when Mike knocked him out early.

    I love Wladdy, but

    Wlad VS Povetkin
    Wlad VS Chagaev
    Wlad VS Haye
    Wlad VS Ibragimov

Wladdy really became cautious when there was a chance someone would hit back.

He is talking about Michael. Michael Spinks and his "athletic fit."

Wannabe what? Is there some sort of new guideline that it had to happen in your lifetime? If anything I am jealous! People getting into boxing history now have such a huge advantage, being able to pour over thousands of hours of footage as opposed to rereading Boxing Pictorial and The Ring! I remember trying to stay awake to watch the Muhammad Ali versus Rocky Marciano simulation at 1:30 AM and passing out half way through! I spent years trying to watch the FOTC!
