The only reason I am pissed off with the stoppage is because Bellew will not get the credit he deserved. It was obvious Bellew was about to KO Mckenzie, but because of the way it was stopped we will not know. Johnny Nelson does not like Bellew. This fight proved to me Bellew is the real deal. To take that knockdown and come back and win like that. I actually believe Tony when he says no one can knock him out. Frank please put him in with Cleverley soon. Tony is 28 now, he can be a big british boxing star but has to happen soon. p.s. what a left hook
Almost as bad as the Manfredo-Calzaghe stoppage. Imagine the Karass Jones fight with a British judge?
Great fight but criminal stoppage. It's getting sickening now, you've really got too wonder what the **** is going on here????? It's not one useless ref, there all guilty of doing this!
It wasn't so much the stoppage that was annoying, moreso the over the top histrionics and obnoxious rant at the camera once the fight was over. His personality and fighting style are one and the same, and certainly not subtle.
Awful stoppage. Only 20 secs or so left in the round too. Ovill obviously a bit groggy, but still looked like he had legs. Bellew just doesn't impress me at all. Any decent boxer will make easy work of him.
anyone who does not believe Bellew would have won must not have been watching the fight. Bellew was clearly in control and was no longer even flinching of Mckenzies punches. In reality the referee saved Mckenzie from serious damage.
