Pretty poor from Barker. He was getting outclassed way before anything happened to his hip. Sadly, that's all anyone is going to focus on.

Was pretty much destroyed, nothing to do with the hip at all,was getting beat up before the hip went but of course sky and Barkers camp will focus on the hip,Barker is a good fighter but for me he's the weakest out of Macklin,Murray and Andy Lee who would have all beaten Geale aswell..

Completely agree with you, Barker obviously thought he was going to walk through Sturm and it became clear very very quickly that was not happening.

Really shocked to see Barker get done like that, not sure if it was his hip or he was just genuinely outclassed in there, I expected him to match Macklin & Murrays performances against Sturm.

Really impressed with Paul Butler tonight he has very good boxing skills. Not great power but looks like he has an excellent boxing brain and some good defence too. Sadly he'll be outspeeded by the top tier of the division but he's doing well.

    Murray
    Macklin
    Lee

    Barker - ex world champ.

Always thought he was the weakest of these . The Martinez knockout was the one , then the Body shot from Geale.

    Sorry Darren , nice lad.

Of course, but that's why they threw the towel in. I'm sure he would have put up a better fight without the hip problem. He's had a lot of issues with both hips before. How the **** you supposed to fight with a dislocated hip!

I think a lot of you are overreacting. I'm not sure when he hurt his hip but you can clearly see he holds it immediately after the first knockdown. In my opinion he wasn't badly hurt from the punch.

Even if the fight was still going with no knock downs from the 1st second of the 1st round Barker looked dreadful.

How low was he crouching for a tall slim fighter?

What was that strange angle he was showing , which was literally letting Sturm throw as many left hooks as he wanted to?

    Didnt throw one jab?
