Not many people would survive Provodnikov. I'd favor him against every welterweight aside from Pac, Floyd, and Bradley, and would give him a great chance against Pac and Bradley. Somewhere along the line people started to associate "puncher" with "crude slugger who only has a puncher's chance in every fight." Provodnikov has some serious skill, knows how to fight, and can knock out anyone close to his size. People wrote off his performance against Bradley because "Bradley fought the wrong fight." It should be taken into account that Bradley fought that fight because Provodnikov knocked his senses into the fifth row early in the fight. Alvarado was favored against him for some reason, and when I saw that I jumped on the Provodnikov KO, which to me was the only possible outcome of that fight. Soon Provodnikov is going to get his due.

This. People get too caught up on labeling and categorizing fighters to make themselves feel like experts like this guy Dunks labeling Provodnikov a "c level fighter". The only problem with this line of thinking is that when Broner takes a Provodnikov left hook to the liver none of this "elite p4p champion Broner" and "c level fighter Provodnikov" label crap will matter and it becomes a question of how quickly Broner's mind will break down while his body is absorbing such brutal punishment.
I can't wait till tomorrow. If Broner struggles against Maidana, he would get MURDERED by Provodnikov.
Broner might mimic Floyd's defense, but he's nowhere near as good at it. His reflexes are slower. I don't think Floyd's defense is a good fit for Broner. They are 2 different fighters. Considering Bradley only beat Provodnikov by a whisker, I think Provodnikov would stop Broner.
Broner will beat maidana but so would a million other guys at 140-147 but will Broner beat Matthysse, Thurman, Bradley, ruslan I can keep going but we already know the answer
